I am here. I was here then went in the living room and crocheted for awhile. I have been making Asiah an afghan since before I went on our bike ride in May. I decided I needed to get finished. I am always making baby blankets for the hospital so I have decided that is enough and get to work on Asiah's. I was all caught up on the dis about 9 tonite. I came back and now i have 5 pages to read. I had a busy day today. Asiah cheered and Elijah played the entire game. Boy was he a pooped boy. defense, offense and receiving team. He loved it. After the football game Asiah, Elijah, Kristen and I went to friends house for birthday party. Walt went home to watch college football. My friends daughter just had a baby three weeks ago. Elijah asked if he could "pet" the baby. I have not stopped laughing yet. He is too funny. Walt is upstairs on the computer and I am downstairs on the laptop. I need to pack our luggage. maybe tomorrow. I have it all set out.

Tomorrow is going to be our cruise prep day. Lots to do. :woohoo:

Has anyone heard from Steve lately?? Haven't seen him much on here lately (probably working like crazy, earning those vacation days!!):thumbsup2

I was watching a Love Boat episode this afternoon. Julie was wearing a formal gown that was completely see through!!! Yes! You could see everything. Chuck walked past the tv and called Julie a tart! :rotfl2:

Can anyone give any guidance from past cruises about if nice jeans and say a polo or nice shirt are appropriate for dinner. Trying to decide what will be needed clotheswise and how many dress pants or in the case of my wife how many dresses will be needed for the dinners aboard the ship. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.:cheer2::cool1:

Yes, jeans are allowed!!

Wow - you've been busy Di!!! Sounds like the kids have been busy as well.

I hope to start getting stuff INTO the suitcases tomorrow...then need to pack our carry ons and our bags to carry into the hotel...

OFF TOPIC:
Want to start doing a game night with friends, first one being on my birthday. Don't have a lick of board games in the house and need some ideas of some good ones to purchase. I need them to be anywhere from 4 people to 20

Hey Becky,

We do this on a regular basis with friends....we have a blast!

The Game of Things (I think it's a Target exclusive) is a riot! We just got this one a while ago, and the more people you have, the funnier it is.

Apples to Apples is awesome...

If you can find this game:

We have played this game many, many times and it rarely gets old...I'm just not sure if it is still in print.

Ticket to Ride and Railroad Tycoon are fun - they are 5-6 player games.

Well - I'm off to bed!! Talk to you all in the morning (or probably afternoon - church and all!!)

Well, y'all, I'm out for the night...I think. I need to get a couple things done before going to bed....

Have a good night!:goodvibes

Speaking of games....just got back from our gaming night, and it looks like there are way too many pages to catch up on tonight.

I hope everyone is doing well....
