Hey everyone...

Been a pretty lazy day here today. We just got done with dinner and one of the topics was, "this time next week we will be eating our first dinner on the Magic"

I am watching Yankees pregame on YES. Let's hope the Yankees can win tonight and go up 2-0.

Are you saying husbands can not cross stitch? I learned how to do it in high school, and I love doing it. I might do some projects for gifts this christmas.

Nope not saying they can't cross stitch---I think its wonderful----I just don't think its something my DH would ever do---I wish he would get involved in one of my hobbies----even scrapbooking---that would be awesome

I went shopping today, for odds and ends and dress shoes. One thing on my list was to find flip flops or slides for Hagan -- and there were NO such things at WalMart! I figured at least they would have something. I did find us girls some on clearance, but NOTHING for boys. Surely they have some for sale on the ship - does anyone know?

Rhee has her BFF over to stay the night tonight so the kids are playing & we are chillin' out this evening.

It was so exciting to see the webcam shot of the Magic sail away from PC today!! That's the last time it will leave the port without US on it!!

I was going to say you could pick up some flip flops for Hagan at a Walmart in Florida, but you are flying in. If you want, I'll be happy to pick up a pair for you - just give me some details and I'll be happy to do that on our way down!

Busy busy day for all of us!! We did some last minute odds and ends shopping as well... dollar store, 5 below, etc. We found LANYARDS at 5 below for $1 each - super excited about that - everyone got a different one too!

I cooked dinner tonight and now I have to go and clean up (since I cooked - shouldn't the KIDS clean up??)

Off to clean and hope to catch up some more!! Countdown to leave is 119 hours for me!!!!

I agree with Janice - Apples to Apples is a GREAT game (and super easy to play!)

Another one I recently played was CatchPhrase (the more people, the more fun!)

Not a problem at all!! I will keep an eye out for them. We still have some here in VA so I will look here - any particular color/type??

Becca has the same dialogue with EVERYONE we meet... we are going on a cruise in 7 days - and it's my birthday and I'll be 8 years old and...... blah blah blah. (But it's SUPER cute!!)

(Sorry - venting a bit). Gonna chill out and watch some tv and surf the net for a while (got a load of laundry a cookin')

Dude - we gotta meet. I thought I was about the only guy to do crosstitching! But, I love doing it. I've been doing it for about 20 years, but I only do really large projects,and then I never frame them! I need to learn to do custom framing. Maybe I'll try to take some pictures & post them.

I tried that, and Teresa said that she didn't have a red dress. Then Heather spoke up & said that she did - but she's only 14! Ah, the innocence of youth.

Good to know about the hair dryers - I have thin hair as well, so if they are good enough for you, they'll be good enough for me!

And we are probably going to get a cab from the hotel (Radisson) to the port... just want to get there early and start having the experience of a lifetime!! I will do some searching to find a good taxi company (i know there is one that isn't really great).
