Ok Doc
What if the flux capacitor doesnt work though?!![]()
you're a regular Paul Anka.
(or are you too young to know who he is?)
Here are a couple of pictures with the "Flux Capacitor"
Just a little background - this was my old job at a company called EverDrive (they sell recycled auto parts). At the time, I was the Controller of the company and my boss was the CFO. I started preparing him some Fluctuation Analyses (which I called "Flux") and he couldn't ever remember so he always called them the Flux Capacitors!
He LOVED it!!!

OK, the excitement is really starting to kick in now.I picked up a new suitcase set from Costco (1 suitcase to check and 1 carry on). I also just made an impulse camera purchase. For me, it's all about the pictures. Memory will fade over time, but pictures keep them alive. Sony has a new camera out that has exceptional low light performance and can produce panoramic pictures "inside" the camera. You sweep the camera in a smooth arc up to 256 degress and, voila everything fits in the picture!
Of course, a new camera for me means that Megan (DD11) gets to have the "old" camera for herself.
Things are looking up that we will definitely make it for the cruise. I had mentioned previously that there was some doubt. My Father was recently diagnosed with a serious condition and the outlook is not good. I flew to see him right away. The short term good news is that he is doing a bit better and should be coming home today or tomorrow. He just sent me a photo from his iPhone showing his hospital room and saying that he is feeling pretty good today.
Safe travels to everyone who is already on their way or soon to depart. We'll see you on the ship!
Matthew
Yup! TomorrowGotta be in bed early tonight, I will be getting up at 3 AM!!!!
Then I have to get Kira up at 4AM so we can leave by 4:15. We have to check in, clear US customs and then go through security. Our flight boards at 6am and gone by 6:30
I asked Kira if she knows where she is going tomorrow and she said no![]()
Quiet day on here today
No-one got anything to chat about?
Anyone going on holiday soon?
If so, ..anywhere nice?
I'll start us off..
Hi, my names Karen, I'm flying to Orlando on Saturday for a week in a villa followed by a Disney cruise with loads of friends.
Ok, next person please,... whats your name and where you going?![]()
Then you're stuck in the year 1855, and you'll have to wait 143 years for the Magic to be built!![]()
How funny - this was post #1985, and that is the year that Back To The Future came out!![]()
