Hey all! Haven't caught up from this afternoon, but wanted to post these pictures and give everyone (Mike) the chance to point and laugh at my sad excuse for an attempt of a FE.

Here is the BEAUTIFUL one that I bought from Bonny in Alabama.

Here is my monstrosity (not complete because I gave up)

Here is a side by side comparison - apparently I didn't realize what size FE were!!!

June is bringing her Tigger.

She hadn't been to any Disney parks in her life until this past Easter. She said she felt deprived of her childhood experience and so bought a Tigger and took it everywhere with her (even though her husband and teenage son teased her about it all the time).

She asked me if she could carry it around on the cruise or if people would make fun of her and I told her about those of you with mascots and even writing trip reports with them. I told her how she'd be in good company:grouphug::tigger:

she'll fit right in Rose.:thumbsup2

I don't think that I've mentioned recently how much "I LOVE THE DIS!"

I was surfing around and saw a banner that took me to the Disney website that has the public booking code of FSC.

I just saved $80 AND upgraded my room at POR to a waterview (I won't have to look at the parking lot.)

WOO HOO!

thats great steve!!:thumbsup2

i love the quote under your b9ersteve avatar.:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

:woohoo::woohoo:

i've been saving everyones poems for quite a while now and i'm thinking of putting them in bookform to sell on the ship.

i'll sell it along with the "girls of the bob cruise calendar".:cheer2:

if preorders are any indication, this years calendar should be a sellout.:woohoo:

my underdog super senses tell me i'm not wanted here.:rolleyes1:sad2:
later guys. off to play golf.:yay:

Good deal Steve.

If you want a recommendation on room location to put in for a request, let me know. There is a certain building/location that worked out well for us.

Do you want to be in the Mansion or Bayou area?

thats great steve!!:thumbsup2

i love the quote under your b9ersteve avatar.:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Thanks! We really liked the mansions, but haven't been married to any idea as far as building. Only there two nights and I can be happy anywhere for that. We were in Magnolia Bend last time. It was real nice and not far from anything.

:surfweb: Getting caught up this morning. I've had lots of company this summer which hasn't given me much computer time.

Hope everyone is doing well. I see packing has begun:thumbsup2 I finally sent off our passport applications for Ron, Cody & I. Tianna didn't need a new one because I had to get hers in time for the January cruise. I'm hoping that they all arrive in time.

Both kids are now back from camp and they both start school in just under two weeks. Boy did the summer go by fast, and I'm okay with that ... it means the cruise will be here soon. :dance3:

All of this talk about how many days is really making it feel close, especially for those of you that are going to WDW pre-cruise.

I was reading through my "cruise stuff" email folder yesterday and came across the fuel surcharge email from DU. If it works out that we get the fuel surcharge back in shipboard credit, we should have $308 coming back to us. That would be a major shot in the arm.

Thats great news on the cheaper rate at Port Orleans Steve. I am really looking forward to staying, even for just the one night.

$308, is that for all the rooms you have booked? It would be a lot less than that for a party of 4.

Just an FYI, oil is still sitting over $71 right now. Hope it moves lower for everyone prior to the determination date.

Did you check to see if you can adjust your ressie? It was very easy. I just called the reservation line and the guy did it in a minute!

Me too. I'm not getting anything back due to the fact that I never paid it, but I've got good wishes for all of my cruise mates!

If you're coming north then bring your brollie. Someone at work said this was the weather for the week end, they are going to the Leeds festival.:scared1:

 Typical English Bank holiday weather:rolleyes:

Here are a couple of recent Jackson photos. I took these last night. He has grown soooo much.

What the heck is on the bottom of Scott's sock? I think I need to go home tonight and clean the floors.:rotfl2:

This is what Jackson is normally doing.....

And the kids play with him all the time.

I misread the email...This is what it says.

  • The amount of the shipboard credit will be equal to the fuel surcharge applied which was $8 per person per day for the 1st and 2nd passenger in a stateroom (with a maximum of $112.00 per person) and $3 per person per day for all others in the stateroom (with a maximum of $42.00 per person).
So I guess it works out to $112 per stateroom for the first two, and $42 for the 3rd and 4th. So its about half of what i was expecting yesterday.

Jackson is so cute. Great pics Lori.

Hey Virginia folks - I apologize for the lateness of this, but apparently, my hubby and MIL have changed where they want to go shopping this weekend and have decided to go to Potomac Mills instead of Leesburg. I think the kids will be happier since there is a lego store AND a Disney Store Outlet at Potomac Mills, but I hope that doesn't throw anyone else off.

We plan on getting there when they open (probably) and if anyone in the area wants to meet for lunch, we will probably eat something in the mall.

Lori, Paige, Beth/Matthew - interested in meeting up for lunch or a quick hi?? ( I know you are working until 2:30 Matthew- I fear we may already be headed home by that time...

HEading back to my LOOOOOOOONG meeting......

Lori - that is the CUTEST puppy!!!!! I can't beleive how big he has gotten so fast!!!!

The girls look like they just love him (Love the smile on Alex's face!) Steve looks like he's crazy about him too!

Ok - really going upstairs to my meeting now.... YAWN

Sorry guys, I'm days behind and trying to catch up.

It'll be slow.

Tonight have to finish shopping with Sean and tomorrow am driving him to Buffalo for orientation and move in day.

Friday after I work yet another 10 hour day, Bob and I are traveling to MA for a concert at Tanglewood. But I have to work the next day so we're driving back that same night.

Maybe I'll catch up on Sunday:rolleyes:

Have a great time Rose. Tell June, she needs to get Tigger a pirate costume.
