Hey everyone...

Just hanging out waiting for my parents and sister to arrive. We have a wedding to go to tomorrow afternoon. The wedding is in Connecticut about 30 miles from us, so they are coming down for the weekend for a visit.

It should be a nice time. The kids are really excited. In fact, Sam just asked, "daddy, are they here yet?"

30 Days of Night is a creepy vampire movie. They truly are monsters and there is no romanticism that is typically the case in vampire stories/movies. They are just cold blooded, disgusting killers in this movie. They also speak a creepy language!

Elaine tells me that it isn't so much Robert Pattinson, but rather the character of Edward Cullen that people are so enamored with. It just so happens he is the schmuck that plays him.

Now, I can tell you a couple of lady vamps on True Blood that could bite me anytime!

I like creepy vampire movies Plus I like Josh Hartnett Sounds like a win-win for me

O, also, Sean saw District 9 a week ago and says that is an awesome scifi pic

Yup, I want to see Julie & Julia too!! Rob and I used to go to 1 or 2 movies a week but now we need a babysitter and we don't have too many of those so we only see the stuff we really want to see and then leave the rest for DVD.

Rob did a double-header for his bday and saw District 9, which he loved and GI Joe which he really liked.

I am looking forward to watching Gerard in The Ugly Truth with my sis next week

Yeah, I'm home from work today.
Kidney stone started moving again and I was in agony until I decided what it was and decided not to go to work and took the pain meds and then about 1 hour later I fell asleep again.

It starts out so subtle I'm not sure if it's just a female cramp or gas or something, so I was waiting on it.
Then when I knew it was getting worse I also knew that taking those pain meds.... well, there's no way to drive or work taking those either.

So....... I'm home. pain free at the moment.

When is this thing going to pass? It seems like it's still in the same spot!
My bosses and co-workers can't be too happy about it either.

I hope it's gone before the cruise!:

Sorry to that Rose. I've never had one so I can't tell you that I know what you're going through but I hope it passes soon and you start to feel better! It would be horrible if you still had it on the cruise

Well, not much left to do now.

Guest room is all done up like a hotel. I love doing the little tray with water, kettle, coffee etc etc (and paracetamol) on it like in a hotel.

Ellis has made Daddy 2 big 40th posters. Just got to sort out downstairs and we're all set for Neils big four oh!

I hope Neil has a FABULOUS 40th!! Sounds like he will because of you!

I'm Angela! I just booked our family of 5 on this cruise - We'll be in room 8550.

We are VERY excited. This will be DH and my 2nd cruise (1st was RCCL 10/05 Eastern) and first cruise for all the kids.

DH and I are celebrating our 14th anniversary on 9/2

I know there's probably a link to this somewhere, but I'm very interested in these door magnets? could someone give a link or brief explanation about how I can go about making some for our door?

went ok. they said the doc would read the results and let me know if there were any problems. they injected me with radioactive stuff so i may glow in the dark for a few days.

robin says we're going on the cruise even if she has to prop me up like "weekend at bernies" movie. i can see her now, "strawberry smoothies all around. charge it to underdog".

Today is the first day I have read the dis in about a week. the last 10 pages. We have been really busy. Getting to hotel late and downloading pictures on facebook. I will begin to read and post every night starting Monday. I have really missed talking to everyone. This has been our summer. mind you a fantastic summer one that we will never forget. We have been to 30 states so far. One more to go. We have gone over 15,000 miles since May 14th.
We were only home for 3 weeks in July. We have seen lots of great scenery and wildlife. All kinds of rock formations. See all kinds of weather. rain, hail, sleet, cold, hot, very hot and very cold. Now it is very hot. We have two more long days left and we will be home. We are in Flagstaff, Arizona. We still need to go through New Mexico. Walt and I have had a blast. Now I am going back home to help my daughter with grandkids. I will be a "Gramma taxi" to football, cheerleading, gymnastics and school activities. My daughter has had to slack off alittle while we were gone so she has to make up for lost time. I have not read the last 100 posts so if I have missed anything important please repost. Mike good luck at the doctors. Good nite to all my great new and old friends. Talk to you all later.

that funny. i thought of him today. the person who injected me had a nametag which said "nuclear something or other" and i wondered if thats what Scott did. cool.
