Mike,

some pixiedust: and
3abc3588.gif
for you tomorrow.

From us too!

Today is the first day I have read the dis in about a week. the last 10 pages. We have been really busy. Getting to hotel late and downloading pictures on facebook. I will begin to read and post every night starting Monday. I have really missed talking to everyone. This has been our summer. mind you a fantastic summer one that we will never forget. We have been to 30 states so far. One more to go. We have gone over 15,000 miles since May 14th.
We were only home for 3 weeks in July. We have seen lots of great scenery and wildlife. All kinds of rock formations. See all kinds of weather. rain, hail, sleet, cold, hot, very hot and very cold. Now it is very hot. We have two more long days left and we will be home. We are in Flagstaff, Arizona. We still need to go through New Mexico. Walt and I have had a blast. Now I am going back home to help my daughter with grandkids. I will be a "Gramma taxi" to football, cheerleading, gymnastics and school activities. My daughter has had to slack off alittle while we were gone so she has to make up for lost time. I have not read the last 100 posts so if I have missed anything important please repost. Mike good luck at the doctors. Good nite to all my great new and old friends. Talk to you all later.

It was a well deserved summer adventure. Welcome back to reality.

I'm here :wave2:

Just finished my workout and shower. Geez, I feel like I am training for a marathon or something, all this exercise is killing me :faint:

Is it October yet??????????????? :rolleyes1

Good for you, you're certainly an inspiration:worship:

I keep falling off that wagon.:sad2:

Have you always been so cruel or have you had to practice?.....:sad2:

Someone would appear to be desperate....:snooty:

And Steve did what prey tell for such a comment to be made?.....come on DISS people take away his green light.....:sad2:

Am leaving now as my therapist tells me all this constant abuse from a cyber bully could damage a shy delicate soul like me.......

Poor Chris:hug:

I'll get that Jeff guy for you:mad:

Ooooh! That's the best part!! He doesn't have to go back over to Iraq! This was his 3rd tour (he goes for 4 months every year and this was his 3rd year). He was already over there for 2 months, so he had 2 months left. His commander sent the guy who was GOING to replace him in October to finish out Sean's tour 2 days after he got back. He doesn't have to go back - at ALL (and the replacement guy just has to finish out Sean's 2 months and he is done - and home for Christmas!!) Even better, he's been off work for the past 3 1/2 weeks - they get some kind of paternity leave for 2 weeks and then he got some time for coming back from Iraq .... he will probably start back to work in a couple weeks. It's been a real blessing!

Yay! Great news!:cool1:

Well, we were gonna watch 30 Days of Night but because he was putzing around in the garage for so long we decided to save it for another night and instead we went over our Disney itinerary together :goodvibes

He said we will have to do it again in about 40 days because he will never remember what I said in 54 days :lmao:

BTW, I have never seen or read the Twilight Series. I don't know what the big deal is with that Robert Pattinson :confused3 The dude even confessed to not showering for a week at a time :scared1: YUCK! :scared:

I've seen 30 days of night. Pretty good movie.
I like Josh Harnett.

But I'm with you on Twilight, just don't really care about it and don't think that actor is all that either.

But you should see Julie and Julia!:thumbsup2
Ok, not a vampire movie, but a really good movie anyway!

O, also, Sean saw District 9 a week ago and says that is an awesome scifi pic

Yeah, I'm home from work today.
Kidney stone started moving again and I was in agony until I decided what it was and decided not to go to work and took the pain meds and then about 1 hour later I fell asleep again.

It starts out so subtle I'm not sure if it's just a female cramp or gas or something, so I was waiting on it.
Then when I knew it was getting worse I also knew that taking those pain meds.... well, there's no way to drive or work taking those either.

So....... I'm home. pain free at the moment.

When is this thing going to pass? It seems like it's still in the same spot!
My bosses and co-workers can't be too happy about it either.

I hope it's gone before the cruise!

Another dilemma here, thought I'd see if anyone has any advice.

Bob's daughter couldn't come from Germany, remember?

So, he has this non-refundable ticket from US Air, who tells him they put it on hold for her to use before next July2.

He's been talking with her and their last conversation went very badly:sad2:
She's got some stupid ideas about the whole scenario based on stuff her mom told her.
Too long of a story and I won't get into it.

He asked Shawna if she'd come for his sister's (Shawna's aunt) wedding in April next year, (then he could have her use the ticket).
She said sure, that her and her mom would come.

:mad:What? He said, why do you think you mom is invited? She's not.
So anyway, Shawna has refused to come without her mom. long story short.

So, he's got this ticket, can't get a cash refund, US Air says they'll only hold it for another trip originating in Frankfurt.

He could really really use that $1200 for his house closing costs.

Anyone have any dealings with this kind of situation?

USAir employees won't even give him a higher up phone number to call and explain, only an email!

It would be great if they would at least release it as a credit to use anywhere in the next year and then he could resell it on flyhub.com.

But he doesn't know how to plead his case and/or get ahold of someone who to talk with except an email:mad:

Any ideas?

:grouphug: and pixiedust: for you, Rose!! I have been lucky enough to never have a kidney stone, but a friend of mine has them and she said they are so painful and debilitating - she'd rather give birth to her twins 10 times over with no medicine than have any kidney stones.

Hope it passes pain free soon!

One more note before I go back and rest,

JEFF, LEAVE POOR SWEET LOVEABLE INNOCENT CHRIS ALONE!

YOU :mad:BIG OLE MEANIE

:scared1:We have rain...lots of it. Give us back our sun!

Hey! dont look at me! - I havent got it!:rotfl: - it was bucketing down here earlier

Kira woke up early too, but she didn't go back to sleep :sad2: At least you got to cuddle your boy ;)

I did! I did!:yay: - I dont get them as often as I'd like, but he was quite happy to cuddle this morning:lovestruc

I've even offered to pay for one in the past, but his tarriffs are always too expensive:rotfl:

Bless him - he's just vaccuumed his room:goodvibes.

Well, not much left to do now.

Guest room is all done up like a hotel. I love doing the little tray with water, kettle, coffee etc etc (and paracetamol) on it like in a hotel.

Ellis has made Daddy 2 big 40th posters. Just got to sort out downstairs and we're all set for Neils big four oh!:dance3:

I've even started packing for York too for next weekend.

After that the "proper" cruise packing starts:yay::yay::yay:
