Ok, I think I did something dumb...and overlooked something important.

Is it too late to buy trip insurance?

No I'm sure you'll get some. We can buy insurance on the day of our vacation if need be.

i sure hope the guy i'm filling in for comes back from sick leave next week.

Rick likes the Mario Carts and we just bought Wii Sports Resort with the motion attachments. They are great fun.

I agree that the excusion desk was a total mess yesterday. Thankfully, my DH was able to pop online (while at lunch right after we boarded) and book excursions privately at both Grand Cayman and Cozumel.

I have to laugh at the people who were actually pissed at the itinerary change. I unerstand that we've had the privilledge of cruising both itineraries before (although, never to Tortola) and I understand a certain amout of disappointment...but I don't get anger (which I did not witness but was told about by a few cast members who were very thankful that we were so relaxed about the change in plans). When we book a cruise in August, our mental state is that we want to get on the ship and we understand that where we go could be altered by the weather. Seriously, do you WANT to go right into a hurricane? How fun would it be to make our stops and be in pouring rain? Personally, I think DCL did a brilliant job making sure we got in one good day at Castaway Cay by stoping there first. Heck, we may even get a double dip out of this. As far as I am concerned, if I am lucky enough to be able to take my family on a cruise, I'm not going to let a swap of ports updry me too much.

One other note...nursery booking has been completely overhauled. The nursery is no longer closed for a break mid day and you can now prebook 18 hrs. They did not have it set for the prebook of 18 hrs for our cruise since this is the first cruise with the switch, but when I went to get on the waitlist for additional hours, I was allowed to add them right away (up to 18..which was plenty). Also, the nursery was open the first night.

I LOVED this attitude! I know I would be the same way. If you KNOW you are cruising during hurricane season, you MUST be flexible. Now, even at the tail end of October, I don't think I could be ANGRY that Mother Nature had some different plans for us... just go with the flow.

I suspect Burnley will put up more of a show on wednesday night than that shower of tripe did today,Karen tell Neil to go to as many games as he can this year because Birminghams stay in the big boys league on today's showing is going to be very short lived......


Sean i have everything crossed your boys take a beating on Wednesday night however can't say am over confident mate,i have a horrible feeling if am honest.....

Our first disney cruise on the Magic was due to take the same Eastern route as the BOB. As we left Port Canaveral, we had to dodge two H's and one tropical storm. We ended up missing St Maarten and stopping at Key West, but we made St Thomas and CC. Wow...was the first night rough. We started out in one shop and ended up in the other as the ship rocked.
