Hey California people.... is this anywhere near Travis Air Force Base? I lived there from the time I was 2 until I was 5 and since my geography wasn't all that great back then.... I just wondered it that was anywhere nearby ya'll.

I do remember that we went to church in Vacaville.

I grew up in Fairfield. Now that we are in the central valley I miss hearing the planes rev up in the morning. I also went to church and got married in VV

Hi everyone,

Well I got motivated today and went out looking for fabric, etc for the non-sew fish extender and I came back without and frustrated.:headache:

I tried JoAnn's, Target and Michael's and did not have luck, especially with any appliques. I looked online and they were expensive especially with shipping.

I usually avoid Walmart bt may have to break down and look there.

Do you have a copy of Passporter? That has some great reviews on ports and excursions, plus all the info you need on the Magic/Wonder. Its the bible for Disney Crusing.

That was one of the first things I bought. I have the '08 and '09 editions. Great book.

Happy birthday to your Becca! :bday: My Becca turns 8 on the day we leave (October 24th). She is registered for the Oceaneers Lab - even though she actually WANTS to be with the "littler" kids - LOL:rotfl2:

Where are you guys from? We are in Virginia.

Welcome again!

We are from AZ. Can't wait to get out of the heat. It's funny that you mentioned that your daughter wants to be in the littler kids room as that was the same reaction that our daughter had. I think it was because she saw all the charatcers and the treehouse in the cruise video. All the kids are going to have a blast no matter where they are.

Happy Wednesday is here

On our first cruise I did an open cabana massage on CC. It was nice except flies kept biting me. THe view was nice, the massage was nice, but the flies were horrible.:scared1:

I booked for a cabana massage on CC on my first cruise. When I got to the adult beach, I was told that they had over booked and directed back to the teen beach, where I found a group of massage tables under tents. Hated it and because of the wasted journey, only had 30 mins for a neck and head massage. I also don't like the hard sell at the end of the treatments.

Just got my car back from the smog (getting ready to sell it) It failed. Wanna know why? Check Engine Lightbulb is out. Took me two hours to get it out!
:scared1::scared1::scared1:

You won't be able to get them out of there, once they get on the ship. Tears at bedtime, I'm sure.

There isn't a lot of difference between the editions. Apart from the additional ports. The next major change will be for the new ships. The books are a must though.

Oh no...time to bite the bullet and get into Walmart. Funny, Walmart is one of the must visits on any trip to the US. Mind you, we tend to head for Super Targets now as they aren't as junky. And when you wake at 4.00am because of jet lag, Walmart is the first place you head for.

Night guys...see you all tomorrow.

Karen, Neil and Ellis should be back tomorrow. You have tonight to make sure that Karen has so many posts to read, she won't be able to give us detention.

Here was me thinking that you would take my threat seriously and what do I find....three pages:confused3

Just checked the link below. Looks like there will be two other ships in port in St Thomas when we get there. Now, will we have to tender? There is a RCCL ship in St Maarten when we get there too.

OK...enough stuff from me.

I'll be back later.

Heather, the first time we were in St Thomas in 05' there were also two other ships. I believe that unless DCL was diverted to St Thomas from a Western cruise itinerary we will not have to tender. But....I have been known to be incorrect. ;)

Great links BTW. I've had Shirley's Port Canaveral link saved in my favs for quite sometime. That woman is a peach! I sent her a SASE in 07' and she filled it up with info from Key West for us and sent it back. We had tons of great information and coupons for that stop. I guess she is from Key West originally and goes back to visit often. :cutie:

Karen: Sorry, I wasn't much of a help in having something for you to read when you came back. There's a lot on MG's plate these days. :upsidedow

Cass: Great job on making it back to Port!! I'm right behind you kiddo. Good luck on your back-to-back. :woohoo:
