That is HILARIOUS!! Great minds think alike, eh??

I like it because it's reall slimming and flowy and girly.... I got everyone's :thumbsup2 in the house when I tried it on last night. (and that's saying alot from the 11 year old who wants to be on Project Runway.... which starts tonight - YAY!!)

I love the dress. and the price was right on it. I hope project runway is as good on Lifetime and it was on Bravo. I will be one of her round models when she needs one. :)

It's DS's last year of flag. I won't coach tackle. The time committment is too great and they start the beginning of August, every weekday night. They take it seriously around here.

I'm not head coach this year - didn't want it. Just an assistant.

Swiper did it again. :lmao: Ryan would have been happier if he hadn't been the head coach. I think he was harder on him than the other kids. It is very time consuming but important for the kids. I coached cheerleading for a couple of years until Megan said that she was annoying herself and wanted to quit.:rotfl2: I missed it after that.

:scared1::scared1::scared1: Yikes! We have a 2007 Hyundai Tuscon and it has close to 55,000 miles on it (yep - we drive it like crazy!!) I just called the dealer we purchased it from to see how much the normal "60,000 mile service" would be and they quoted me around $1600!!

Wow!!!! The reason we were going to get it serviced before our cruise was so that we could drive it down to Florida, but now I'm thinking a rental car is looking better and better!!

Going to shop around, though.... appears they may be selling stuff we don't need (even though the factory "recommends" it)

I'll probably miss coaching. I don't do baseball - don't feel I know enough. I am at all the practices though, so it just makes sense to help out.

But now he will be doing it through school. They still need coaches, but the times just don't work in my schedule.

Yeah, check the actual owners manual for what the "factory recommends". Don't forget, the service department is there to make money and the managers will get big payouts for the more money they bring in.

Just like the oil change places. They tell you every 3,000 miles, but Honda lists 7,500 miles for my driving situation. I split the difference at 5,000 miles.

I had an oil change place replace some fluid once around 70,000, but it wasn't due to be replaced until 125,000 miles.

Read the chart in the book and see what really needs to be done. Remember, very few people really drive in the "harsh" conditions. It is not just based on the fact you drive a lot of miles, it is how those miles are driven.

Thanks for the info. I just called a different Hyundai dealership in town (where we DIDN'T buy it) and he gave us an EXACT quote of $1203.78. Still expensive, but a lot cheaper than the other one. Some of the stuff I don't think we need done, but maybe we can "piecemeal" it out for the services/products we do need.

Congrats! DD was not happy with her ManU team. Megan was yelling at the players. I told her they did not understand her southern american accent. :lmao: I got a very ugly look and so I left.

Yes it was a special night, the whole town was buzzing last night. Hope they can keep it up.
Man Utd didnt play well thogh - think they need to get Ronando back:thumbsup2

Sorry Karen. No PC's were working this morning and I'm so busy at the moment, don't even have time to ........(fill in the blanks!):rotfl2:

 Miss Heather!

Lovely:goodvibes - me likey!:goodvibes

Right thats most of my jobs done for today. All the laundry, kitchen, beds stripped and remade, vacuuming, last prezzies collected for Neils birthday, balloons blown up and hidden til Saturday - (nasty job - made me all giddy)

Off to collect Ellis from a friends then start on dinner.

I love Rroject Runway too. With many shows they change a good thing and I don't understand why. I watched Top Chef last night and it seems they are changing too.

Hello everyone. I am taking a quick break from steaming some rugs at the office and thought I would jump on the DIS and see whats up.
AT finally sent the email saying our return flight has changed. It only moved by 23 minutes and isn't a big deal for us, but we're looking at that opportunity to maybe move to the later flight that day either out of MCO or TPA. If we go TPA, we may go down to see my aunt and uncle. If we do MCO, we could do something around the World.

Now that that email came, the times should be set. I'll look for their timetable book online and if listed, then I don't have to worry about anymore changes.

Need to look at car rentals for the extra 6 hours to see what that will cost.
I got an email yesterday too for our 11/1 flight. It sounds like if we got the email it shouldn't change anymore. Did I read your post correctly? I know you fly AirTran often, so I bow to your travel experience. :lmao:

I concur with Jeff. I stopped taking our Toyota Sienna to the local Toyota dealer because they were trying to nickel and dime me too much. They wanted to replace my timing belt at 60K miles instead of the Toyota recommended 90K. They have their own "New England Service Guide" that they claim to use from 30+ years of experience in business. Its insane the work they want to do every 15,000 miles and 30,000 miles

I now take it to my Chevrolet dealer where I service my full size van. I have never had problems there and they treat us good. Just today, I took the Sienna in for service. When I called for an appointment, I just took out my service manual and read what the 90K service recommended on the "normal" schedule. An oil change, tire rotation, air filter, cabin air filter, an hour and a half of my time and a $140, I was out of there. Not bad for 90K service.

If I had gone to the Toyota Dealer they would have replaced every fluid in the car, gave me a 4 wheel alignment and probably would have tried replacing my timing belt again! It would have cost at least a grand!

Overcast Thursday and I'm posting and eating at the same time.

You're welcome Cass. Good news on the nursery. Come with Rick and I. We'll be in Rockin Bar D most nights catching the Adult shows.

I am planning on being there more this time round.

I feel you're in for a big disapointment. We might live and work in London, but we are rubbish when it comes to tourist sights, bargains, places to eat, etc.

Then you better get to work on playing tourist before the cruise so you can help Steve out.:lmao:

I am doing my first year of coaching cheerleading this year. I hope I do ok. Any lessons learned in those 2 years would be appreciated.:goodvibes

I agree about Ronaldo. They definitely need him back. Aren't you planning on taking Scott to a match next year? I will go if y'all are playing Man Utd and Ronaldo is back.:lovestruc

Better get back to work now. Have a good rest of the workday everyone.:thumbsup2
