Hey all DisTag participants...

I have created a spreadsheet that has all the current 27 DisTag participants broken down by age/sex/DiS username, etc. It also has the kids ages (Karen - I went through all the ones you didn't have and searched on the threads and gathered that info... I'm a nerd!!)

If anyone wants this spreadsheet, I'm HAPPY to share. If we do add 3 more folks to the list, I will do that and resend it out to you.

Please send me a PM with your email address :surfweb:and I'll send it out right away!

Angie

Steve,

Fabulous door signs and really great photos!! Loved the friar Steve comment!!! :lmao: Looks like everyone had a great time! Glad it worked out for Stuart!!

Leisha,

How did I miss your birthday :sad2:

Happy Belated!!! :bday: :cake: party:

Thank you!

BTW, Leah's first day at school went very well. Not so good in the morning though. The Kindergartners have half days. Leah is in the afternoon group. She was all ready for school when we dropped Stuart off. But could not understand why she wasn't being dropped off. She was pretty mad and felt cheated when we took her back home. She counted down the three hours it would be until she was able to go. Once there, she was off like a shot to her classroom. Some parents got tears and hugs from their little ones, not us. "When are you leaving, Daddy?" That's what I got. Oh well. She was VERY happy with her first day. Didn't get homework like her brother, so Laura pulled out some worksheets she has laying around and they did math problems. (Leah's choice not ours. The girl drives herself, craziest thing!)

Too cute Steve. :cutie:

Steve, I remember Thomas's first day of Kindergarten - he came into the room, found his spot at the table, sat down to start a little project the teacher set out for them and said, "Bye Mom!". So, you're not the only one!

Not my kids! :scared1: Tony cried and hung onto me which made me cry and Kristin was just out-right ticked off at me. She folded her little arms across her chest and just looked away from me. When I left I went outside and peeked through the window and saw her playing with the other kids already. Ha...that kid "played" her mama! :rotfl:

Sad we lost Laurie...:sad2:, but you think we all don't have a list??

Honey, I have an entire SPREADSHEET!!!!!!:rotfl2::cool1: (I'm not joking - I seriously have one - broken down by sex, age, adult/kid, etc) - Any one want it? I'll be happy to share! :woohoo:

I had a spreadsheet too Angie complete with celebrations of our fellow BOBers on it but I let it lapse a bit lately. We over-planners must stick together though. I'd love to see a copy of your's. email address was sent to you in a pm. ;)

Just noticed - this is my 500th post! Woo hoo!!!!

Poem madame? :surfweb:

I know:sad2::sad1:

But he is happy he should be moving into his new house around the time of my cruise, or perhaps even before.
So with the 3 weeks of vacation time he just canceled since his daughter isn't coming, he'll use a bunch of that time to move and settle in.:thumbsup2

His new home is only 5 minutes away from mine, someday it could be the same house;)

:thumbsup2

Ooh! - a googley:banana:

Good job on the :sail: Karen.

I feel I ought to give you all ample warning :rolleyes1 PHOTO ALERT - I'm uploading NUMEROUS piccies to photobucket.... now may be the time to vacate the thread if you do NOT wish to be inundated with my holiday snaps:rotfl2:

Ha ha! - too late.... here they come!

Well, I totally jiggered my vacations plans. It was Chris' fault. He asked me if I was still staying at the Radisson even though I'm going to WDW on the 23rd. That got me to thinking. I'd be far easier and not much more expensive to say at WDW. Looked into it and yes, it's doable.

I'm now staying at Port Orleans: Riverside on the nights of the 22nd and 23rd. I'm using DME from transport from Airport to WDW and bought the DCL transfers from WDW to Port (that probably means that I'll be a bit later than most of you.) But the transfers were the same cost as the rental car and I don't have to hassle with anything. I'm keeping everything a secret from the kids. So they'll be surprised!

Sounds like a great plan!!!

BoB Cruise Poem (apparently this is a requirement once one hits 500 posts.....didn't know that one!!)

Ok - here goes (don't judge me... I'm an accountant with not a shred of creativity in my body.....):cool1:

There was was a girl from nantucket.... Oops!! Wrong poem...:rotfl:

15 years of nagging, and the time is quickly coming,
To go on a cruise so lets start the humming.
My wonderful hubby has finally agreed,
To let me on a boat for some islands to see.

I want to bask in the sun and frolic in the sand,
And listen to some music by a totally rockin’ band.
“All you can eat”, what a wonderful phrase!
How to gain 15 pounds in only 7 days.

Dinner at Palo, smoothies on deck,
I’ll make sure to give Dave a big kiss on the neck.
Girls playing in the clubs, us touring the galley,
Playing Bingo and shopping – oh my dear aunt SALLY!

The next 71 days are full of excitement and wonder,
Planning and creating DisTag gifts for all to go plunder.
Looking forward to friendships we surely will make,
And doesn’t this poem just take all the cake??

I hit 500 posts on the DisBoards, you see
So a poem to write was assigned to me.
Get planning and packing and creating galore,
And soon will be cruising to Castaway’s shore.

:hug::hug::hug:

I hear you....fortunately Thomas's kindergarten teacher was wonderful! She was always looking for ways to help, not to judge. I don't know if we'll always get that lucky....

BTW - great wine fest pics!

Oh, don't get me wrong Jen, the teacher and school psychologist were very nice and helpful. They were just being helpful and letting me know I might want to get him checked. And then for MOST(there were a few bad apples)of his next 7 years at that elementary school, everyone really helped Sean along:)

Glad Thomas has a good one too:teacher:

DISTAG PLAYERS - IMPORTANT PLEASE READ

Hi folks:goodvibes

Would anyone object to adding up to 3 more players? - the total would then be 30. I know some people have completed the gifts already and some are personalised and I know we have already passed our cut off date of July 4th, which is why I am asking.

Current Players - please pm me if you DO object and I will keep the list closed at 27 - no-ones details will be discussed with anyone else, so please be honest if it causes you trouble.

I have just noticed that the cut off date is NOT on page 1's post, (CASS - COULD YOU ADD THIS PLEASE THAT THE GAME IS NOW CLOSED ON PAGE ONE?) so relatively new Bobbers may not have realized they needed to be added to the list :rolleyes1

Please pm me asap so I can let the new people know one way or another.

Fine with me:goodvibes

I was told on Megan's first day that she was a stubborn little girl. We could have told them that. She is starting her sophmore year in college so she did ok.
