10/24/2009 Bash On the Boat (I'm with B.O.B.) - Thread #25

We heard on Tuesday that my cousin had gone out of town and her boyfriend had given ALL the puppies away in 1 day. We were really bummed.
Just got a call from my mom about 30 minutes ago that when my cousin got home yesterday all the puppies were in fact gone except ours. So we will be getting him this week. Hopefully today if my dad will meet us halfway. I may be crazy but it is time for the kids to have a dog. We also love dogs and the kids are old enough to help out (yeah right) and not torture it too much.
It is a lab and kuvasz mix. It will probably end up around 90 lbs!!!!! Love it.

So those of you who have done the skyride on St Thomas with DCL, what are the particulars? Do you just get your ticket on the ship and provide your own transportation? Can we walk over to it?

Are you talking about Paradise Point?

If so, It's just a short walk. Looks as though it's cheaper to book on the ship. There's a nice view of the port from there.

We walked from there over to the shops which are just as you get off the ship.

The last time, we were docked in Timbuktu. Long, long, long walk...trust me.

Cass was saying that it is literally across the street from the ship.. so very walkable.. we are going there.. cause \i have that webcam set up on my desktop..so I look at it all the time..lol

We only docked there because we had been diverted due to the "H" word.

We haven't made any plans for the ports.. I think we will go to paradise point tho we are going to just walk around and see what we can... save a few bucks and then maybe next time we will do some of the other stuff
