Quick post - asking for prayers and hugs for my brother and his wife. My SIL just delivered their twin (Marlee and Merrick) this morning around 2 am. They were only at 24 weeks gestation (She was due November 8th). They are 1 1/2 pounds each and fighting like crazy.

My brother is in Iraq now and the Red Cross is going to try to get him home asap to be with his wife. I don't have a lot of details as this has only been happening for past 7 hours.

SIL (Natalie) is surrounded by her family (mom and dad) and we are thankful for that. All prayers and hugs are appreciated. Thanks so much.

pixiedust:pixiedust: You got it Angie

Dont worry;) - I have those written down too:lmao:

I fancy the martini tasting:thumbsup2 - its Sunday or Thursday:thumbsup2

Whens Tequila? - dont think I've ever tried it!

June and I would do the martini tasting, I'd even do the wine tasting again!:thumbsup2

I did the tequila tasting in 2005. I thought it was really long and boring.
And then they first had you tasting straight tequila, which none of us girls ( I hung out with some other single girls that cruise) really fancied doing.
We only got into it at the end when they made a couple of mini margarita's to sample.

I wouldn't do it again. But perhaps someone else might like it.

Gotcha! :lmao::rotfl2:

We are with Bernie & fam and Nancy & fam :thumbsup2
I've requested APL because Kira will be with us at dinner the first night and with APL, the AP show is the first night so I would love for her to see that.

The only way we will see you at dinner is if you have APL too :thumbsup2 Feel free to request APL :teeth: :cool1: :rolleyes1 :thumbsup2

O, I see. Guess that is too many.

Good morning peeps:goodvibes

WW today:guilty: - dont think I've lost anything. Its going to be a struggle with Ellis off school

I lost 1/2lb:rolleyes:.... half a pound:rolleyes:,......... all that walking and dieting for half a stoooooooooooopid pound:rolleyes:

Iknow, I know, I should be happy, blah blah blah, but I need it to come off quicker than this:sad2:

Oh well, I'll stick at it.

Well, you did say you didn't think you'd lost anything, so half a pound should be bonus. :thumbsup2:hug: Keep at it girl.

Hey all, guess we have to pull the pin on this cruise date. We are having too many "issues" with my Father and no one in the area that can take over when we are away. I realize we are still 3 months away, but it is better to accpet the inevitable (SP) now then a few days before the ship sails. We are cruising again in Feb, so we may just move this booking, as it is paid in full, to make it a back to back.
Good luck, have fun and have a fruity one in my honor!!!!:thumbsup2

That's a shame. Hope all is OK at home.:hug:just in case.

right at the tamarak..right?

Sounds good to me. Actually the puppies are in WV and we have only seen pics. They are my cousin's. They are only about 45 min from the Tamarak. I'll just have Tanya drive one over this afternoon. You're on vacation, you don't have anything else to do right? You might as well surprise Robin. I'm sure you would get a smoocher out of it.:thumbsup2:rotfl2:

Yay Mike! I like those work around the house vacations. I got one coming up in Sept. I'm going to be knocking out our christmas decorations.

My kids just ended VBS. They had a great time. Laura volunteered for the week. And she had a great time as well. Sometimes I envy her Stay-at-home-mom status. Esp yesterday when I was handling a Gunshot wound, traumatic Code blue and Meth overdose all at the same time.

i think robin wanted to stay home this week too.
she said 'whats it feel like to have that many vacation weeks?".
but i told her...i earned em....35 years in that heckhole.:headache:
she said "you're right"

You are a bad boy.:upsidedow

Really? thats a shame. Maybe I'll just try a couple at the bar instead then.

As Rose said it was only worth doing if you like Tequila. I had never done shots, so it was an experience but I thought it was horrible.

As for the Martini Tasting, I was expecting a sweet drink like the choco-tinis but it was just an introduction to proper Martini's (James Bond type!). There are two tastings - one for Vodka and one for Gin. I did the Vodka one.

Me didn't likey.

Now if they had a cocktail tasting...I'd be there.

Can anyone talk me out of getting this?

They might look cute Lori - think poop, puddles, chewed slippers and shoes, walkies, vet bills, kennel costs, etc. etc

Need any more reasons?

And I had three dogs at one time (at the same time!)...so I'm talking from experience.

35 minutes and that's my Monday done.

Mrs VP Thread Killer strikes again.
