10/24/2009 Bash On the Boat (I'm with B.O.B.) - Thread 24

Well there is good news to report, and there is bad news to report. The good news is she is scheduled to come home tomorrow, being Saturday. The bad news is that the doctors do not know what has caused this. I am really weary of this, but I talked with the doctor today, and he said that the ekg came back okay. I am confused because first they said that it looked abnormal, and now they say it is okay. They said that they do not want to install a pacemaker at her age. So they are going to try a medication, and reassess her as an outpatient. As far as her dizziness goes, they think that that is a deep inner ear infection. So we will see what happens. And hopefully all turns out well using this new medication. I will keep everyone updated, but that is the last update for now. Please continue your thoughts and prayers.

Chris - thank you for the update. I am glad it's nothing serious at this point. Maybe it was a fluke and it will only happen this one time. We will keep her in our thoughts and prayers.

Watched Big Brother. hmmmmm....guess which house guest Mike likes the best.

We went to the Calgary Stampede last night, Kira's first one We didn't get home until midnight so I didn't get to watch BB. I will watch it tomorrow night though

Wow, no real answers. Not a surprise really, I have many things wrong with me that they have no clue about.

What a long week! So glad it's almost over!! The girls have been gone for 4 days now and I have gotten NOTHING accomplished - just resting and enjoying hanging with the hubby. We did visit Dave's dad in the hospital last night... He will have to have surgery this week (or early next week) - will find out the details today hopefully. He was in good spirits, so that was encouraging.

I watched Big Brother last night - just had a lengthy conversation with my boss and some fellow co-workers about it. Looks to be an interesting season!

Well - gotta go see the big boss big boss - have a project to do!! Yay!

I've had a busy but fun afternoon

I've just gone through all the navigators making a note of all the activities Ellis will enjoy. Theres loads he can do now he's in the older group of 8-9's...... We'll hardly see him

I also need to remember the portrait sittings in the lobby - I want one with a white background again

I'm trying to make a spreadsheet of it all.... its gonna be a busy week

Just been scouring through the menus.... anyone else who thinks Lumieres is

Not much on there that tempts me. I'll go, ....then sneek to topsiders or do room service later

Nothing on there but Beef tenderloin and Crepe suzette for me. Too much nasty fishy stuff for me

I'll just sit and slurp on cocktails all evening while I watch my dinner companions eat

Pirate night menu gets the thumbs up from me, as does Til we meet again, Captains gala looks a bit fishy too

All I want is that blue cheese and grape pizza in Palo - I could eat that for a week for brekkie, lunch and dinner

On our last cruise dinner in Lumiere's was my least favorite. I really enjoyed Parrot Cay though. I was surprised about that.

I took my passporter cruise planning book to lunch with me today and started reading it seriously and indepth. I kept emailing my Travel Agent asking him questions - he's gonna get sick of me (good thing he's a friend of mine)
