Phew! - just back from my walk - we did 6,500 steps:thumbsup2... I'm well on my way for todays target of 10,000:cool1:

Hi!!!

Just getting ready for two upcoming WDW trips! :cool1: Busy with the kids this summer and work. Going to Phoenix for graduation next week - right through my bday! Gonna miss the kids as I've never been away from them for this long before! But on the flip side I will finally meet my coworkers! Been in this job for a little over a year now and didn't go to graduation last year so this year's a big one!

Hiya Mel...how ya doing?

Cass,

Watched Big Brother. hmmmmm....guess which house guest Mike likes the best. :rolleyes:

Robin - I bet he like the 5th grade teacher by day/dj by night...:cool1: He's so cool!!

Of course, I bet it's the girl with the BIG personality...:rotfl2:

Well Big Brother is on right now on the west coast and I figured out Mike's favorite. Seems Big Red is now the Big Brunette AKA Big Bimbo from Big Brother

:cloud9::cloud9::cloud9::cloud9:
they're real...and they're spectacular!!!:cloud9::cloud9:

Chris, I will add her to my prayer list. :hug:
Good morning everyone. Just an update on my wife. She is still in the hospitol. The cardiologist says that he is not happy with the results, but would not say what is abnormal. So they sent it to another hospitol, Froedtert Memorial. So now we are just waiting for the doctors to get the results back from over there. I love the waiting game...There are over 140 cause of low heart rate. Some are good, and some are bad. She went for a chest x-ray today. No results from that yet. They also just took her blood pressure, and that was 85/60. Which is also low. So, we continue to wait, and pray.

Just trying to get my head round planning things!

Palo, excursions, etc etc.... the cruise is coming round quickly now!:yay:

Top o' the morning, fellow BoBers. TGIF!!!

What a long week! So glad it's almost over!! The girls have been gone for 4 days now and I have gotten NOTHING accomplished - just resting and enjoying hanging with the hubby. We did visit Dave's dad in the hospital last night... He will have to have surgery this week (or early next week) - will find out the details today hopefully. He was in good spirits, so that was encouraging.

I watched Big Brother last night - just had a lengthy conversation with my boss and some fellow co-workers about it. Looks to be an interesting season! :banana:

Well - gotta go see the big boss big boss - have a project to do!! Yay!

Wow! - you're good!:thumbsup2:banana:

Thanks Paige:hug:

No problem. I think I must have logged on right when you did. I'm off to take Emily to her volunteer job.....

If I ever go back to work, I think I will list "taxi driver" on my resume'.:rotfl:

Later I'm going to lunch at Cracker Barrel with a couple of my neighbors. We're going so my next door neighbor can get a bit of a break from her 2 year old twins. Yes two year old twins! Hers husband has been in Afganistan for a few months, and the little ones can wear her out. She also has a 14 year old son--who I am sure can wear her out, too. She never complains, though. Anyway, I'm off.....

Y'all have a great day! Anyone else DISsing tonight? I will be, so maybe I'll see y'all back here...

Good morning everyone. We are getting settled back home. It sure was nice to sleep in my own bed last night! :thumbsup2

We have a few things to do today. Elaine is officiating a wedding tomorrow and has the rehersal tonight. We then have to take some camp staff out to camp for the next session. Tomorrow, we have to take the campers to camp. Lets just say we know those roads rather well.

When we were down south we had Cracker Barrel for Breakfast, but I have been craving Chicken and Dumplings. I could not convince my wife to stop for lunch of supper. For some reason she doesn't like it for meals other than breakfast. We did eat at Shoney's in Florence, SC on Wednesday night and that was just awful! Then again I am not a huge fan of buffets. The only good thing is the kids ate for free, but I was far from satisfied.

Well there is good news to report, and there is bad news to report. The good news is she is scheduled to come home tomorrow, being Saturday. The bad news is that the doctors do not know what has caused this. I am really weary of this, but I talked with the doctor today, and he said that the ekg came back okay. I am confused because first they said that it looked abnormal, and now they say it is okay. They said that they do not want to install a pacemaker at her age. So they are going to try a medication, and reassess her as an outpatient. As far as her dizziness goes, they think that that is a deep inner ear infection. So we will see what happens. And hopefully all turns out well using this new medication. I will keep everyone updated, but that is the last update for now. Please continue your thoughts and prayers.

Thanks for the update Chris. We will continue to pray! :hug:

Chris - I LOVE Cracker Barrel Chicken and Dumplins - I get them everytime we go there. We are lucky to have one right down the road from us. It's an oddity because it's not right off of a major highway (like most of them are) - just in the suburbs. We don't go often, though.

I REALLY don't like Shoney's either - I can't say that too much around my family as Daves older brother has worked there for close to 25 years - since he as 16... he manages a restaurant and his WIFE is his boss and is the district manager for this area. Still, even though we could eat free - not a fan...
