I remember the Kodak disc, but never had one. I had a 126, then a 110. During my teens, I took a break from photography, then bought a 35mm point and shoot when I was about 20.Googly????
Yay!! IKWYM about the flashes Chris - I never understood why there were more pictures on a roll of film than flashes on the camera.... mysteries of childhood.
Ever have a Disc Camera??

A lot of the stuff we lost was just that....STUFF. But, we did lose our wedding pictures, the kids baby books, my wedding dress...etc. You know, all the sentimental stuff.
Great job KarenI am going to update the Dis Tag page tonight to include this and some clearer instructions

OK, my dishes are calling me....
Since Karen is probably still in dreamy nap time, she will have to read this when she wakes up.... I just saw an artice online that Kodak is retiring it's oldest type of file - mostly due to the advent of digital photography. Here is the link.

Funny thing - how many of your kids now want to see the picture immediately - they don't understand how you had to "send out" your film for development?? Anyone here remember the flashbulbs that only had 4 or 6 at a time!!! Ah... childhood memories!
Hey everyone. I'm in my RV relaxing. It's about 9:30 pm our time so all of you are long asleep. We had a day of accomplishments. I started the day teaching the. Kids to ride their bikes. I know, bad dad their already 5 and 8 and I'm just now getting around to it! Well Leah took to it very quickly initially but Stuart was a bit put off that she was doing so well so he redoubled his efforts and finally learned. Now he's riding about like a pro. Later we went to the pool and I wouldn't let them put their floaties on. It is a fairly shallow pool so I felt comfortable. Within a short period of time they were dog paddling about easily. I couldn't believe it. I've been trying to get Stuart to swim for years and in one afternoon he's acting like a fish. The place were we're staying is beautiful. I'd post pics but I'm on my iPhone right now and cannot. When we're back I'll post some.
So thats what you call it these days![]()

I have a quick question for you all.
I'd like to surprise Stacy with a massage on the cruise. Which one would you suggest? I kind of like the idea of the open cabana massage on Castaway Cay but I don't really want to waste too much time there. The day is so short to begin with.
Since we have 3 at sea days, I thought it might be better to book one on the ship in the Spa.
What do you all think?![]()
How about a few pics from last week?

Good evening all....
How is everyone? We're ok here....just trying to make it through another week.
I am getting together with the in-laws and out-laws on July 5th so we can plan shore excursions. We'll see what we might want to do together, what we might want to do apart, and then get it all organized so I can book everything when the 90 day window oens up.
Here's a cruise question - can I book excursions/Palo/spa for my in-laws at 90 days if we're all linked and we're all paid in full?
Yes, I believe you can When I went to book parasailing last time, it had a list of ALL linked ressies and I could have booked Mike, Robin, Jeff, Karen, Walt & Di and Lori for parasailing too I wasn't feeling that generous though
You can also use their ressie number and sign them up with DCL (using their info like bdays etc.) and make their ressies for them. That's what I did for my inlaws last time since they were clueless about everything I filled out their online forms and booked what they wanted for them
Also, at 75 days, you can book a table at Palo for up to 4 people, you don't need to give names, just book your Palo ressie and it asked for how many people (up to 4) I will be booking our Palo dinner at 75 days for 4 so that Bernie and Sean can join us
Thanks for your awesome BOB site, Cass - it is chock full of great info.
I did something on a whim this afternoon.... I booked ANOTHER cruise!! Ok - havne't even been on my first one yet and here I am booking another one!! Cruise is not Disneysad1
But one of my dear friends is turning "almost" 40 and we wanted a girls getaway without the hubbys and kids.
Found a 4 night Bahamas cruise on Norwegian Cruise Line in December 2010 (Hey... I plan ahead!) for less than $650 for BOTH of us!! It goes out of Miami, but we can drive and have a road trip as well.
ANyone ever sailed Norwegian? ANy thoughts? I know it's not a good as DCL, but for 4 nights with no kids, should be FUN!!![]()
Sigh....
I'm looking through the DCL excursions and the port links on the BOB website...still trying to make some pics for excursions.
So, here's my next question...if I am not planning to shop for anything expensive (jewelry, perfume, etc.) is it worth it to plan some shopping time? Are there local markets, or is it just "duty-free" shopping?

Hiya Tony....missed you last night.
Why not do the mud room one together on a sea day. A cabana massage would be good too. They do get booked up very quickly and I think you can only book onboard. You'l have to check that one though.
It was 12 years ago but I still can't find any humor in it yet.Maybe I'm just a little sensitive about it still.
Good job Karen.
