Good morning,

How's Maine? Warm & sunny here today.

Right now it's 68 and the sun is out. Weather Man says 70 today and tomorrow.
Nancy is working today so I rode to work wit her a 8:00 and had a nice 35 min walk home. We couldn't walk together today because this is Nancys Water Erobic day. I will enjoy today tomorrow its back to work until Sunday afternoon.
Have a great day and say hi to my Red Sox Pal Roger.
Dan

Not sure yet. We're thinking PO-R. This way we have the boat to DTD. It will be a mad house down there with the T-o-T they do.

But if there is a good discount on rooms, I may look into something in the Boardwalk area. Give us a different flavor in the evening.

I haven't made ressies yet, just wondering where you guys were.

I'm holding on making a ressie right now. I'm thinking there will be room codes for the fall. If not, I will go to whatever Moderate is open on the AAA rate. Hoping we can get PO-R.

Are you guys looking at a Moderate or would you go Deluxe?

Now you're going to MNSSHP on the 31st, correct? If that is the case, it shouldn't matter what Mod you're in. We're going to DTD so we want the option of the boat to avoid the traffic down there.

Touching wood? Is this a custom across the pond? Explain, please.....

Just an old saying / superstition we use over here

Things are going ok....not as quickly as I'd like though. Our 3rd appointment with the psychologist (the appointment where we are going to sit down and come up with a treatment plan) was supposed to be on the 19th but has been posponed due to a family emergency for the psychologist. I don't blame her in the least, but I really want to get things "sorted" as you'd say. ;) I have a meeting with the school psychologist and Thomas's teacher on Thursday, so we'll start getting things figured out for school hopefully too. In the meantime, I'm doing a lot of reading....trying to get some ideas. I'm having a bit of a hard time because I really don't want to start him on medication but a lot of the books talk about a 3 way approach to treatment which is behavior modification, parent training, and medication.

Ok, enough depressing talk....on the upside Mother's Day was pretty nice - they made a cute tote bag at school with a sunflower on it (using the kids' handprints for the yellow) and Thomas was so excited to give it to me. :lovestruc

Sounds like you're in control of it all Jen. It will all take time (for me that the hardest part - the waiting and not being able to get on and sort it!)

Big hugs Jen, you're doing a great job:hug::goodvibes

things are good here.

Good to hear. :goodvibes

Hows the cruise planning going?

Yep, right now this is the hardest part for me also...I want to "make it all better" right away, and I can't. Thanks for the hugs and support...it means a lot!

12 more to another googley:yay:

I'm staying on to get a go at grabbing it:yay:

I would have quad googleys then:rotfl:

I might stop trying when I get octuplets:rotfl2:

And Postal Employees aren't Federal Gov't employees, so we're told. I know their website does not end in .gov.

Rose should be able to answer that for sure though.

Can't remember if they get the Federal Health and Pension plans.

I guess we're quasi- government.... whatever that means:confused3
Like kind of sort of?

SSSHHH, I'm on here at work... trying to catch up on all you've done while I've been gone:headache:

We do get Federal Health plans and other benefits....
All our benefits are done through OPM Office of Personnel Management
and their website is .gov.

Older employees( I missed this by 2 years) have Civil Service retirement which I think is Federal retirement.
Newer, after 1984 I think.... we're under FERS Ferderal Employees retirement plan... but that's mostly our own contributions and Social Security.

I'm sure all Moms and Dads want to "fix" things immediately for their children.

Unfortunately, its not always that simple:sad2:

Whenever you need to vent or offload we're always here Jen. We might not have been through it, but we can all give support and hugs:goodvibes:hug:

Yep, that's right....Mom always wants to make things better :goodvibes

Even when we can't...

So, I'm learning patience....
