I have never had coconut ice cream. It sounds yummy. I like coconut jelly bellies. I must try sometime. Di

The coconut ice cream was made in the restaurant we where we had dinner, but I think Ben & Jerry's has some kind of coconut ice cream.

Hey everyone. Finally home, relaxed, and caught up after a very long day. Samantha won 3rd place for vocal solo in her category. Our young sacred dance group won 1st place, and our Level IV (the highest level) solo sacred dance participant won 1st place. The first place winners will be going to territorial competition at the New Jersey Meadowlands in 5 weeks.

That will be another extremely long day as we will have to travel 140 miles instead of 35.

I will be posting a video of Sam singing on Facebook, and possibly on photobucket tomorrow.

You didn't mess me up Nancy! Since I am the scorer, I have disqualified myself.

I haven't heard from the girls yet. I'll probably see them tomorrow and I'll ask them then.

We're sitting here waiting for a top-secret text message to come through from another BOBer. Then we're off on a mission to make a very special mom very happy on Mother's Day. :yay:
Love to hear of the mission

Missed it because they're slow :rotfl2:
Congratulations Cheryl:dance3:
Good luck with the soccer games today Janice pixiedust: The rain has stopped for now here and the sun is actually shining so hopefully it will at least be dry for you guys today!
At least it didn't rain, but sure was cold. Mackenzie's team won 5-0. The girls played hard. Bryce's team lost 2-0, with one goal scored off of our player. Bryce got hurt, (taken out by the goalie) but no call made by the ref. He never went back in the rest of the game.

Look what I just got! MNSSHP here I come!

Mine haven't come yet.

or not??????
Congrats Heather...:dance3:

Thanks Heather. It has been 18 years.:love::love::banana:Diane

Edited: Yeah an FO for me on Walt and mine's anniversary. Diane

Happy Anniversay Walt & Di

Grad day is over. We stopped at the same hotel as last night in LaPorte Indiana. We still have a 5 hr drive home which would mean we wouldn't have gotten home until 3:30 AM. We're too tired for that.

Thanks and Congrats on your graduation. We are sure proud of you. I am glad you guys stopped. Driving tired is dangerous. Walt and I had a good day on the bike. Had mexican food for lunch and leftover pizza for supper. We just got back from Macdonald's. I am addicted to their ice cream. We finished up our packing to make sure everything fits. Not much space. Happy Mother's Day to all the moms. Diane

Geez...

It's Saturday night...where the heck is everyone?

It was a great day today. Graduation was very nice, perfect weather...great for pics, which I wll post tomorrow when we get home. We'll probably be home around noon tomorrow.

The strangest thing happened today...

Before the ceremony, all of the graduates gathered in the hall to sign in. As we were standing there, one of the guys said hi to me and we started talking. We were both receiving the same degree, so I asked him what his name was. (With online classes, you learn names of classmates, but there are obviously no faces to go with that name.) We realized that we were in several classes together and continued to talk. It was then time to line up.

We were instructed to line up in pairs so he & I paired up. In the meantime, Mike was in The Drugin Center, where the ceremony was to take place. He was talking to the person sitting next to him while he waited for the ceremony to start.

As we entered the room, Mike was looking for me and taking pics...he noticed that the woman he had been talking to had her camera pointed in the same direction. He asked her..."Is that your husband in the glasses?" She said, "Yes". Mike said, "Well, that my wife walking next to him". They both started laughing.

It was so weird that amongst all of the graduates I was with, I chose to talk to this guy and amongst all of the family members in the auditorium, that his wife would sit next to Mike. After we did the processional and sat down, I noticed she and Mike were doing a lot of laughing. Then I noticed that she got up and came over to take a pic of us. (We were in the front row.) I asked the guy..."Is that your wife"? He said, "Yes". I said, Well, that's my husband sitting next to him. He was dumbfounded.

There's more!!!

You'll never guess what he does for a living.

He's the Master Chef for the Magic Kingdom. He's been with the company for more than 25 years. :rotfl2: Weird!!! huh?

He said that when we come down in Oct to call him and he'll get us in the park. :woohoo:

Isn't that a great day!!!:banana::banana:

500th Post Poem - ODE TO DISNEY CRUISE

If I were not upon the sea,
an airport guy would be me
moving people all day long,
keeping things going strong.
and if a problem should arise,
I'll fix it quick with no surprise.
Travelers scurry hither and yon
without a care what lies beyond.
For someone is behind the scene.
Keeping everything serene.
Since I am not upon the sea.
Right now that person will be me.

Matthew :)
