We've been to AKL but the villas just opened a week ago. We are staying at AKV for the first 2 nights of our trip and I am so excited about it

I know after seeing all the pictures of Kidani I am more excited about staying there than at Bay Lake but I am glad I was able to get reservations at both so we can check them both out! We are doing a DVC tour in Oct., we have BLT Oct. 22, AKV Kidani Oct. 23 and the Treehouse Villas booked for Oct. 31 We'll be living out of our suitcases the nights before the cruise but we were having a hard time deciding where to stay the 22 and Rach suggested we stay at one the 22nd and the other the 23rd so we could try both BLT and AKV

So Kristin and Stacy went to see Danny Gokey tonight. (American Idol finalist...just in case you don't watch). I've been watching the news and it's a mob scene. He's having a free mini concert down at our Summerfest grounds on Lake Michigan. Everyone who goes is getting a free ticket to Summerfest when it starts this summer.

Then, he'll be tossing out the first ball at the Brewers/Cubs game tonight.

GO GOKEY GO!!!!

Rachel wanted to go the Brewer's game last night when she heard he was going to be singing the National Anthem but when she checked ticket prices they were over $80.00 She and her cousin kept with their plans to go to the Hannah Montana movie instead. Danny is her second choice to win Idol, she likes Chris better. I like Danny and Chris and am hoping one of the 2 win.

Yes she sure is desperate to get back there, but now she is talking about "wasting" some of her money on Fall Out Boys concert tickets, all she does is play that CD that Ryan gave her (and I keep having their songs going through my head then) I told her she'd be better off saving that money for her next trip to England (or her college education) because she keeps saying she is going again.

Let's see, OUR kid needs a college education in a few years and she is still talking about going to medical school in NY City if you'd like to contribute to that fund

We leave out of Jacksonville. We are driving a few hours today and finishing the drive there tomorrow.

Y'all wish me luck today. This morning is the First Communion here. I am the F.C. coordinator, so I am a little nervous. Lucky for me, the kids are young (2nd grade), so if they "mess up" it's still cute.

Did you try JoAnne fabrics? They carry a lot of crafts too so maybe they would have them.

Yes, a soccer day, hopefully it's done raining.

How was the Danny Gokey party? kids have a good time. One of our local radio announcers is from Milwaukee, and was going to it. In LaCrosse they have a World's Largest Office party around "secretaries" day, and they had Danny's friend Jamar perform. I heard it was great.
I hope he wins.

What are you up to today?
