Karen, I'm talking my camera and the manual to work today. If I get a chance I'm reading it from cover to cover to see what's going on. I think it's like beating a dead horse though.

It cant hurt Nancy. Have you thought of sending it back to Olympus? Might be an error in the camera if no-one else is having the same trouble

Take your camera in with it and work through the manual bit by bit. If nothing else, you'll get more familiar with the functions and get more out of it than you did before.

Good morning Karen

Yup, once again, I'm up at the butt crack of stupid. I just can't sleep these days anymore. I found a thread on the main cruise threads about underwater cameras. Mine was listed as being the favorite!! I can't even imagine that. I even pm'd one of those DISers and we compared how we have our cameras set. It's exactly the same and mine still takes 2-3 seconds to take the shot. I sure hope if I win this newer one, it'll be better. Otherwise, I'm going back to my 3.1 megapixel Fuji.

Nancy, is the camera digital? If so, have you held the button down half way a second before taking the shot, then fully depress the button when you actually want to take it?
