He is better. He went to school. He ran a low grade fever and had a cough on Sunday night, so Ikept him home on Monday. Well, he actually came with us to Rob's eye appointment--and because of him we were able to get in the HOV lane all the way up to DC.

I hope L is feeling better. Alex really enjoyed visiting with him; he was very talkative after we dropped y'all off, well for a little while anyway. The next day he told us, "Mom, did you know that Logan's been on 17 cruises already?"

Sorry but for a big bull moose like me, I'm afraid that wouldn't be much of a problem.....no wait, I forgot I'm dainty and demure, so, yes, frozen girly drinks do me in every time!

Yep, the two of them hit it off. We won't tell L that Alex isn't coming until we get closer. Too bad we didn't hook them up on the KK.

As for cruises, this will be only his 7th. Actual vacations is well past 17, but I forget the number. I'd have to figure it out.

L has a low fever now, a raspy cough and is really, really tired. Can't keep even white soda down. He said he was feeling better about 30 minutes ago, but when he went down stairs to try and eat he said he didn't feel good anymore. Once he's up from lying down, he gets worse. He's had hardly any fluids today either. He just won't keep them down. Dr won't be happy when we go in tonight. We were thinking of cancelling the appt and waiting another 24 hours (nurse's recommendation if he felt better), but now will go in as planned.

As for the HOV lanes, I thought those said "2 or More" people. Is it 2 or more passengers?

Different HOVs have different criteria. On I-95 going to DC, it's 3 people but on I-66 going to DC, it's 2 people. I asked Rob as we were getting on the HOV, "Is it 3 people or 3 licensed drivers?" He thought it was 3 people (not necessarily licensed), so hopefully that is right.

Doubt it. Plus, that is over-hyped and not as severe as they thought. When we talked to the nurse this morning, she was wondering about strep throat. She says there is no way to tell for sure until they can rule out everything else when he comes in. I'm sure they'll check strep first.
