And yes, of course, anyone who gets more :sail: than their siggie can hold, go ahead and post :sail:x#. :yay:

Fantastic.:woohoo: Looks like our group of 10/22ers is growing too. :yay:

I was surprised to see Bernie on the 31st. I thought she said she was doing the 22nd? Maybe I'm confusing her with someone else.

Do you want me to disappear when it comes time for the :sail:?

Karen, what series are you buying for Ellis? I think there are two series out there for kids at that age. One is "Boxcar Children" and the other is "Magic Treehouse". I believe both are in that age group.

"Boxcar" children I think was the one that the author wrote because there were no books in for children in that age group.

The letter that comes with the tickets says that CHILDREN are encouraged to wear costumes....

Wonder if they are trying to discourage adults wearing them

One year at DL I dressed up as a CM. I actually had people walking up to me to ask quesions. :rotfl2: I wore my office attire and just added a DL name tag that had been sold as a souvenir on Main Street.

Nobody from Disney seemed to mind. I actually answered the questions that I was asked too. :goodvibes (Maybe some of the Disney folks thought I was a supervisor with my shirt and tie.) :rolleyes1

How lucky can a girl get? I turn my odometer to 7800 and get to talk to Karen at the same time. :yay:

Of course, my lunch is over now. Time to look busy. :scared1:

Sorry I missed you Nancy - enjoy your afternoon:rolleyes1

They are by Michael Lawrence - titles include "Killer Underpants", "Toilet of Doom" etc............ all very intellectual and full of facts:rolleyes1:rotfl:

Never heard of Boxcar - I'll go google:thumbsup2

We're undecided at the moment re MNSSHP, we may go, but we may do Blue Man instead or Cirque... Cant make my mind up. I like all 3 and have seen them all once, whereas Ellis hasnt seen Cirque or Blue Man.

No, she said it but at the time I think she was confused...I think she thought it was a post for who's going to MNSSHP, and not for who's going on the 22nd. Trust me, they are going on the 31st :thumbsup2

Wow, I am surprised they didn't say anything to you! I know they really discourage any adults dressing up as characters that look real (like they work there) and when they see costumes that look real, they ask the person not to pose for photos with guests or offer signatures.

I can see why...they don't want someone else other than Disney-trained employees representing themselves as real CM's.

Personally, I find it too hot to dress up in a costume :scared: I try to wear something Halloween-ish though :thumbsup2

Boxcar look good Jeff:thumbsup2

That might just be his next collection:thumbsup2

He already has some magic tree and all the horrible science and history books.

Love those titles. :rotfl: "Killer Underpants", that's nothing to do with an atomic wedgy is it? :rotfl2:

DS is reading the "Boxcar Children" and loves them. I know he read "Magic Treehouse" before that. Not sure if he completely finished that series or not. They are both in the 30's or more of books in the series.

We're hoping to get him on the old "Hardy Boy" books soon. He really like adventure and mystery.

Hi Cass.

Hey, did you see Piglet? If so, you know what to do, right? :lmao:

Another title is Maggot pie :scared:... I dread to think:rolleyes1

I loved the mystery type books when I was a kid too, the famous five etc:thumbsup2

He's also reading Dick King Smith books too:thumbsup2

Has L got the horrible history books? Good facts but written in a kids way to keep them interested. Ellis is just finishing "The Awesome Egyptians"

See ya Karen. No need to stop back though. I'll be around. :rotfl:

:rotfl: A girl can try cant she!:confused3... I know I dont stand a chance against the Master Stealer, but I'll give it a go:goodvibes
