we were at the nursing home, then i washed robins car.
it was 85 degrees here today.

Well, guess what everyone? Kristin and Jesse FINALLY got their wedding pictures from the jerk of photographer we had. Over 5 months since the wedding and only after a threat from me to take legal action, did he come through with MOST of the order!!

I sent him a registered letter a few weeks ago (thanks Suz) and threatened (in a nice way....kind of) that if we didn't get the pictures that were promised in the contract that we would report him to the BBB and make a call to a local tv station that helps folks out when they are dealing with stuff like this. In the contract it was stated that they would have their pictures and 15 free 8x10's six weeks after the wedding. I also added a line at the end that said I had an attorney on retainer for this.

We got the albums today but no 8x10's. I think we won half the battle but we're not giving up just yet.


Note: Don't mess with the Goose!!! I come out fighting when my kids are involved.

What are the rules for poems? Is it every 1000 or every 100? I am coming up on 200, so do I need to start planning a poem for 200?

Hi everyone. This is just a quick post hoping everyone is doing well!

I wanted to show you a couple pics before I'm off again. Derek made this for me in wood shop at school. It's a lazy susan. He's so thoughtful~

These are from my tour earlier in the week. Sorry, they're not the best. This is the Commandant of the Marine Corps' house...parade grounds int he forefront..

This is a pic taken from the house looking out to where the Silent Drill team perfoms on Friday nights in warm months.

Like I said, they're not the best. I fogort my camera so I was lucky to get these...

I'm working from home too!!! My Wii was delivered this morning and the electrician just got done replacing some fixtures for me. I'm getting ready to goof off

Hi everyone! I really miss you guys!!! Thought I'd pop on to let you all know I'm thinking of you and very excited that you'll be cruising so soon! Yeah!!!

Amelia's 4th bday was the other day. She had an awesome day today! We got her her first bike - Disney Princess, of course! She loves it!

Took special cookies into school for her bday. Then her nanny made a "Mickey boat" cake and we sang to in the afternoon. Then in the evening my whole family went to our favorite Japanese restaurant for hibachi service (at Amelia's request to have her bday there). She loves it there! She loves the fire and food they try to throw in your mouth -- I'm a bit worried about her teenage years!!!

We had a cake made from a local bakery and they were able to screen two of her favorite characters from "Meet the Robinsons" on them. She was so funny when she saw it....acted all disbelief and shy. Too cute. She's "in love" with Will Robinson whom she actually calls "Goofer" for some reason. Never goes anywhere without the doll. In fact, if you ever looked through my Webshots albums you'll see him in a lot of pictures over the last year.

Had an awesome day! Can't believe she's 4 already! Time flies!

My last two donations were Locks of Love but I think I'm going to go with Wigs for Kids this time. They do not charge those receiving wigs so I think that's a nice thing.
