:cool1: Alamo had the best price for rental cars in Vegas plus I was hoping they had the feature where you could choose your vehicle. I reserved a SUV, it was the same price as a full size car so we figured why not, we'll be doing a lot of driving we might as well be comfortable :thumbsup2

We got stung for fuel by Alamo in Vegas. Would think again before using them.

Yep, back in the day he was shooting missiles/rockets, but now all he shoots are emails........:sad2::rotfl::rotfl:

He's getting too old for that, I say. We've lost too many friends, right?

Speaking of which---Remember our friends, Giap and Dave who were supposed to cruise with us? Well, you know, he was injured very badly in Iraq--lower extremities, barely got out with his life. Don't you know that guy fully recovered (with lots of physical therapy) and has fathered two more children since that injury? Giap found out last week that this latest one (the reason they had to cancel the cruise)is a girl. They had four boys before he got injured and now two girls....hmmmm, I wonder if that's more than a coincidence?:rotfl:

Good for them,

Before I go, here are some pics from DC's cherry blossoms......

Wow, how beautiful are those trees!
Paige, your children are all very nice looking.

Wooo hooo I booked our flights to Orlando today :cool1:

Well, 2 out of 3 of them anyway :rolleyes1

We used our Avion points and only had to pay for the taxes, which is $150 for each ticket. :woohoo:

Now I just gotta book that third flight! I booked the first 2 seats in A and C hoping no one would book the B seat but I don't really want to buy it now because it's $807 :scared: So I am going to keep an eye on our flight and hope it comes down in the next few weeks. If the seats start to fill up though, I will just have to book it at that price because I want the 3 of us to sit together ::yes::

I'm sooooo excited :yay:

Chris already said the kids are not coming. Just him and Hazel. We'll see though. Just like their trip this summer, we'll see. :rotfl:

Chris must have mentioned the repo to Rachel and convinced her it would be OK for us to go without her (thanks Chris ) because she brought it up when I talked to her a little while ago. She said Al and I can go without her (I should have recorded that conversation) and she will just stay at my brother's because she will be able to drive to school by then. Then she started saying something about her and Ryan and Rosie spending that time together and then she bought Courtney into the equation and said they will drive to CA to pick us up so we only have to fly to FL and we can all drive back from CA to save money :confused3 She sure gets some wild ideas :rolleyes1

Sorry I missed you Cheryl. I had to get back to work. Looking forward to Rachel coming home?

Yes we're looking forward to her coming home :yay: the week went quicker than I thought it would though. She has had such a wonderful time and Chris and Hazel have made her feel so welcome that she said she doesn't want to come home. She wants us to move to England now.

I'll have to look at my rental terms with them again to make sure we don't have any unexpected charges.

YOu big spender you!!!! The Contemporary!!! :worship::worship:

:lmao::rotfl2:
not really. back then the CB was the new hot resort. we hd a ressie for 2 weeks booked there. then a few months before our trip, disney called and asked if we'd be willing to stay at the contemporary instead for the same price as the CB. ($89 i think). so we jumped on it.:thumbsup2
we figured we'd get a garden wing or something, but we got a MK view.:wizard:
that was a great 2 weeks.:wizard:watching fireworks from the balcony.:wizard:

The return is more expensive than the other way around, for everyone :guilty:

Just so you know, if you take DCL transportation from the port to WDW, it will be a Mears shuttle bus and not a DCL bus.

It's a shame we have to bring so much crap with us, we could have given you guys a ride. How much stuff you guys bringing anyway????

not much. we're packing lite. robin could sit on my lap.:rolleyes1pirate::laughing:

Where are we at with a list now:

Karen/Neil + Family
Lori/Scott + Family
Cath/Seah + Family
Cheryl/Al + Family
Jeff/Suz + Family
AFEG + Family (He's not getting out of it :rotfl:)

That would be 6 BOBers. With Families, 22 people total.

Anyone else going to MNSSHP on the 22nd? :confused3

That sounds like a great group.:thumbsup2
