I made a list today of 40 things to do in the Easter holidays so hopefully Ellis wont be too bored. We have ages off here for Easter - 3 weeks almost:rolleyes:

Its too cold most days to spend too long outside so its hard to occupy him without letting him sit glued to his playstation, ds or wii:rolleyes:

I am taking him into the big park by us though for the day, picnic, tennis raquets, football, etc plus my camera (I thought he might like to start taking piccies properly in the woods and by the lake etc and start his own album:thumbsup2.) We can also collect leaves, cones etc and make a collage picture. Hopefully the cows, squirrels and rabbits etc will be nearby so he can photograph them too. Then we'll finish off with an icecream before going home:thumbsup2.

I've also bought him 2 thick maths books to work through:scared: - I'm not going to be popular when I show him those:rotfl:
Three weeks :scared1: I think 1 week is too long.

Yippeeeeeeeeee! - I'm not so smelly after all:rotfl:

Yep, three weeks:rolleyes:, then 6 weeks in Summer and 1 week at half terms, plus the odd "teacher training day" tagged onto some of the holidays too. He's hardly at school before theres another holiday:rolleyes:

:scared1:1 :scared1:FOOT :scared1:OF :scared1:SNOW:scared1:HOLY:scared1: COW!:scared1:

Yeah Sean and I just spent a hour shoveling our drive way... our neighbors driveway (elderly) and the back patio.....can I borrow your tiger balm Karen? I am assuming thats what your wearing..lol :thumbsup2

OK it's 10:30 am.. I deserve breakfast out me thinks..lol laters :yay:

I only drink tea, but most people drink both coffee and tea. A "cuppa" usually refers to tea not coffee, just short for "cup of" :thumbsup2

I drink a lot of different types... the normal "english breakfast" tea, then fruit teas, herbal teas such as camomile tea etc etc

We dont have a constant pot of coffee warming - do most Americans do that or is that just on tv shows:confused3 We also use "instant" coffee (just add water type) rather than the proper ground coffee a lot too, although we do use the other sort sometimes, but its more hassle, especially if only Neil is drinking it.:rolleyes1

Ok, thats my English lesson over for the day:teacher:

Thanks for the lesson:hug:

Nobody I know has a pot of coffee warming, well, at least not at home, I do know they keep a big pot brewing at work in the morning, but that's nasty stuff, cheap, icky:scared:

The only instant I do, which is very rarely is when I'm over at Bob's, he doesn't do coffee, but he keeps instant coffee bags.... like tea bags.... and also general foods international coffees... which is powdered like hot cocoa and has more sugar and stuff in it than caffeine I bet.

For some reason when I make coffee at home it's never as good as it is when they make it for me at Dunkin Donuts, so I go there every morning!:thumbsup2

On special days, like Sundays or on vacation it's Starbucks!:woohoo:
Yummy flavored fatful lattes! Costly though too.

Bob doesn't get why I can't just save money and make it at home, but
then he's not a coffee drinker so what would he know anyway:rolleyes:

That's my coffee lesson for you Karen:hug:

That was going to be my next question - do Americans really buy coffee most days from places like Starbucks? It must cost you a fortune over the year!

Hmmmmm, :scratchin, I'm no Number Boy, but I'm guessing you could have paid for a cruise with all that coffee money:rolleyes1

You are so creative with your son:thumbsup2

Nope, ..........just desperate:lmao:

Holy cow! - thats just perfect!:yay: (Apart from that TART on the bottom:snooty:)

I'm upstairs:rolleyes:, Ellis and Neil are scoffing on chocolate and watching tv, so I've removed myself from temptation:angel:

My meal at the Italian restaurant last night was rather norty! - I had 4 cheese rissotto - oh it was to die for:cloud9:... but I cant even begin to wonder how many millions of calories were in it:scared1:

And then I had choc cheesecake for dessert:rolleyes1

I did skip a starter though ......and I only had 3 glasses of wine instead of the whole bottle:lmao:

I was good for the rest of the week though:thumbsup2

I'm trying ......(just not very hard:rolleyes1)

Right, I'm off to soak in a deep hot bubble bath...... maybe the excess weight and fat will just melt away in the bubbly water:confused3:lmao:

Enjoy your evening people:goodvibes
