I got on here to thank several for my buddy requests AND to see my sister's vacation pics. You understand clearly where her priorities are!

We also had to turn the clocks forward one hour this morning so they actually lost another hours sleep aswell as being woken up at 5am

Interesting - we did ours 3 weeks ago. I nev er stopped to think about what other countries do.

Yummy is right. We love the Mickey bar, Mickey cookie and rainbow pop. Wish I had a Mickey bar right now. Asiah and I like Tower of Terror.. Elijah went on because he felt like he needed to. He did not like it. Did you see the new High School Musical show. Niece is one of the main dancer/singer. I have not seen it yet. Can't wait. She was in the other High School Musical show and did a great job. She is also in the parade. Diane

We saw both shows. They were great. the kids loved them. Do you have a pic of her?

Good morning everyone from a very rainy Connecticut! I feel a little better than I did last night. I will be taking another dose of Zicam before heading out here in a few minutes.

Karen, that is funny about the alarm. That has happened to me with our car before. I will hear the honking and say to myself, "some idiots car is going off." Then I realize that it was my car all along and that my key button must have got pushed in my pocket or something.

I'll check in when I can today. After church I have to drive back to Massachusetts to pick up the young adults who are at the Retreat, so I have a pretty busy day.

Well, not exactly, that college money was coming from Sean's own account left from his father's life insurance. He's going through it rather too quickly now.

But I can always still hope But Bob still says no

I have a funny story....


We got woken up this mornig at 5am by the sound of someones house alarm going off....

We looked outside and checked our friends on the corner (they went to Florida yesterday so their house is empty)... it was all secure. Got back into bed and tried to ignore it.... impossible.

After about 5 minutes Neil went downstairs to make a cuppa and normally our house alarm sensor catches you in the hallway and starts beeping. It didnt go off telling us to disarm like it normally does... wierd?

Anyway, to cut a long story short, ........it was our alarm that was going off outside

Ellis had accidently turned off the mains power to the alarm yesterday and the battery backup cell only lasts 12 hours, at 5am the battery was dead so the house alarm automatically went off outside but not inside

There we were cursing the neighbours and it was us all along

Oops! - sorry neighbours

Hey I was realizing recently that whenever you said cuppa, I thought you meant coffee but read somewhere on the www that that means tea. Is that true?
And does anyone in England drink coffee? Or are you mostly tea drinkers there?

I'm Tanya's sister. She was originally going on this cruise but cancelled because of kids sports schedules. She's fussing because I shared pics here before I did with her.

Good morning everyone from snowy southeastern WI It's still snowing and we have a windchill of 17 this morning. My poor crocuses that were peeking out of the ground earlier this week are going to be so confused.

So......

Bringing Sean home soon.
Too expensive for him to stay at that private school.

His space sciences professors say that undergrads can get a general physics degree at a public(cheaper school) and then go back to a better university... such as F.I.T. to finish up with their masters and ph.d. in astronomy/astrophysics/astrobiology.... or whatever.

So......

Back to applying to colleges, transcripts from high school, F.I.T., scores from ACT and SAT....

And now time off needed from work to go pick him up and bring him and all his stuffs back


Doesn't help that he's been goofing off on his computers (yes, multiples) instead of studying and so has brought down his GPA so that I am not sure what colleges may want him

Good thing I only have to go through this with 1!
