Well Lori...right now I'm drinking a chocolate milkshake

Walt and I went out to eat tonite. We had calamari for appetizer. We each had a prime rib sandwich. Yummy!!! I had macaroni and cheese and Walt had string french fries. Yummy!!!! We had dessert. Me chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and Walt had carrot cake. We spoiled ourselves. We had a gift card. We celebrated Walt's retirement. We brought 1/2 home but I am still too full. I over ate. What a mistake. Whenever I eat too much my shoulder hurts. I should know better.

Well everyone...its been a good day, but I am feeling a cold coming on. I took some Zicam today and just took another dose. I think I will head to bed and hope I feel better in the AM.

This Zicam is good stuff, so with any luck, I'll feel a lot better by Monday.

Zicam worked like magic for me the last time I had a cold.

Morning all...just chipping in before this one closes. We're off to see my Nephew and his wife today. I get to see my new Grand Niece for the first time. Doubt we're be back today and looks like this one might close.

I love this one.

The flowers there were so pretty.

The kids (and Scott) loved this new ride in the kid section of seaworld.

Julia just HAD to get her face painted.

Harrison wanted a tatoo. Of course he picked Lightning.

Great lori. We haven't been to Seaworld for some years. Looks like we'll have to visit soon.

He did good...we dont know if he passed until later, but I think he did enough to pass. We didnt get out of there though til 6pm..we got there at 2pm... four hours of waiting on a hard wooden chair killed my back

WELL, GOOD MORNING PEEPS!

I have a funny story....


We got woken up this mornig at 5am by the sound of someones house alarm going off....

We looked outside and checked our friends on the corner (they went to Florida yesterday so their house is empty)... it was all secure. Got back into bed and tried to ignore it.... impossible.

After about 5 minutes Neil went downstairs to make a cuppa and normally our house alarm sensor catches you in the hallway and starts beeping. It didnt go off telling us to disarm like it normally does... wierd?

Anyway, to cut a long story short, ........it was our alarm that was going off outside

Ellis had accidently turned off the mains power to the alarm yesterday and the battery backup cell only lasts 12 hours, at 5am the battery was dead so the house alarm automatically went off outside but not inside

There we were cursing the neighbours and it was us all along

Oops! - sorry neighbours

We also had to turn the clocks forward one hour this morning so they actually lost another hours sleep aswell as being woken up at 5am

I'm here now Cath, I had to drop Ellis at his first karate session. I have an hour til I have to collect hime, get him home, eat lunch then whizz him back off to his karate grading this afternoon the other side of town...just call me Mrs taxi He's going for his green belt today I've only come home to do some laundry and housework ...

Have you booked your carparking at Manchester yet? I got a great deal at the short stay literally across the road from the terminal - if you need details let me know.
