Good morning all,

You are not going to believe what I did!!! A week after I join the ranks of the umemployeed. I am going on the Magic!!!! My mother 88 and my sister 68- from California are going on the 5/23 Eastern!!!!!! The Florida resident rates came out and it's too good to pass up. We always go somewhere when my sister is here, so why not. They are a lot of work to take anywhere but this will be easier than a week in the parks!!!

This could be a recon mission before the main trip in Oct. Make sure the KK are as good as they were last fall etc....:cool2: Gather all the info you can. have fun and enjoy yourself. I have been telling Tommy that if we lived in FL we could cruise more often and he is just not listening.

Wow, how exciting!!! I don't think I have ever had less than a year and a half from booking to cruising...you only have 2 months now until you cruise :cool1: :thumbsup2 Yes, lots of pics for us please :teeth: Oooh, are you going to write a Trip Report :rolleyes1 :goodvibes

I guess I could try since I will have a lot of time on my hands.... Not as witty as most of you though!

You would do a great trip report. Lets face it if you were too witty then you would get kicked out of the AICPA.:lmao: Accountants are not allowed much of si:rolleyes1 nce of humor.

Karen, we had our boarding passes handed to us as we got in line to check in. I was also able to check in without Chuck being there. But, right as I was about to leave the counter, there he was. I'm not sure if he would've had to check in again too? I think there was some talk about that issue a while ago but maybe one of our seasoned cruisers can help out with that. :confused3

Thanks Nancy - the on;y boarding card I remember is the one Jeff gave me with a big number 2 on it:banana: :woohoo: :yay:

I checked in my whole family by myself.

Thanks:thumbsup2

Pictures I can do...

Lots please:thumbsup2... especially if you see any hunky pirates ;)

I checked in without Rob there, no problem. When he got to the terminal, he went right up to the same CM that checked us in (that's what the CM told me to do) without waiting in line and he showed his passport and got his KTTW card :thumbsup2

Good afternoon everyone, evening for those across the pond.

On our last cruise, I dropped off the family at the Port with our luggage, and then returned the car to Budget. I took the shuttle back. It was probably about 15 minutes from drop off to return. On the way back, Elaine called my cell saying she finished everything. I asked her, "do you have my KTW card and she responded an affirmative. When I got to the Port, I went through the security, declined a boarding pass as Elaine had one, and met my family on the big sofa thingy's on the right side of the escalator. I didn't go through a check in process at all.

This time though, I will just ride the shuttle from the Radisson with all of the other crazy BOBers. The DCL staff won't know what to think when we ascend that escalator!

They'll probably be wondering what they've gotten themselves into!:rotfl:

Yep - the plural of Lego is ...................Lego:thumbsup2

I had also googled it the last time we spoke so I knew that too:rotfl2:

All I was trying to say is that its never Legos. Its always Lego. You can add the bricks/pieces to be totally correct, but no-one bothers:rolleyes1, but Lego never has an s on the end.... lecture over;)

Correct, it would never have an "s" at the end, but you said the "plural" is Lego, but that is not correct. ;)

We were there shortly after 10 and got a #4 card and the terminal was virtually empty. I have no idea how there was 3's and 2's ahead of us!

Was just talking with a fellow co-worker of mine. While I was away, there was indeed a vote that granted to give our 2009 3.5% raise back, to add insult to injury, our local property taxes are going up around .40 per $100 of property value and that doesn't include the school tax increase. So far, I'm already about $2500.00 in the hole and starting to worry about the possibilty of what this might mean for our October 2009 vacation plans, especially since I have Lina's massage therapy school tutition to pay for as well.

It's just like the little saying that was on our paystubs a few months back, "Just when you think you are going to make the ends meet, they move the ends." So true.

Hey Steve how are things going today?

Hi! I'm on Day 2 of 6 at work. Day one was crazy busy we did 240 patients. Essentially turning over 10/hour. I was working in the rapid care area and processed about 40 pts myself in 8 hours. Today is much more tame. Of course now that I have said that it will get insane again. Laura's got some girlie thing going on at the house tonight, so I'll be holed up in my room with my portable computer. So, I'll be online tonight quite a bit. But by then many of you will be in bed already.:confused3
