Hi There.......

My DD has failed her written driving test three times so far(twice in high school, once since graduating), so she really hasn't shown much effort trying to get her driver's license. I thought I'd let her get behind the wheel and see what it was like driving around on our property. As you saw in the pic, she was beaming when she got out of the car. Maybe this will give her the spark she needed to go after her driver's license. We shall see..........

Lesson #2 will be shortly, but she doesn't know it yet........

Andy at least she has taken the tests. I am hearing more and more kids that are not wanting to learn to drive. We have a friend that inherited his grandmothers car, so he came home with it about 6 months ago. Just in time for his oldest to start learning to drive. She got her permit, but has not driven since. You have to have so many pemit hours clocked before your can get your license. But on the permit the put the soonest date you can get your license if all of your hours are met. Her date is June 1st and she does not have any hours clocked. They have spoke to her serveral times about it and she says "why should learn to drive when you can take me everywhere" Believe it or not she is not the only kids I have heard say that. So they told her June 1st they no longer take her places and as of Dec if she does not have her license they are selling her car. She does no seem to care.

However, with this economy, there is the threat of inflation coming back. May have to find larger bills.

Heck, let's just consider it my own stimulus plan, we'll make them $1,000 bills. Doesn't matter if we can't afford them, it will be DS's kids who will have to plant more money trees.

Sounds great to me. Do you know if there is any girls around 8 going?

Our youngest daughter Sarah is 9 right now. She will turn 10 when we are on the cruise. Our older daughter Megan is 11 right now and turns 12 on the cruise. I'm sure that Sarah would love to have someone to hang out with.
