This is the last pic I took of the smoke that trailed the Discovery after it's launch.

Our daughter is currently 16 and our boys are 14 and 12. All three will gain a year by the end of July. In fact middle son has celebrated his birthday on DCL at least 4 times! He didn't last year...but he did his 13th...in Naples/Pompeii! It was one of those, how do you ever top that?...kinda moments! The nice thing is, he is child that relishes EVERY birthday!
DH and I take a week every year without them...miss them terribly....but relish the romance of our solo time!
What about your kiddos? How long have you been married? We will make 20 years this November.
Tomah is in the middle of the state. Follow I90/94 up from Rockford, where the two interstates divide, is where Tomah is. Do you know where WI Dells is? We are 45 min. north. Beautiful state, I like it here.By the way, where is Tomah, Wisconsin? You have such a beautiful state!![]()
Cool video Andy. I am guessing it is really hard to see the shuttle once the booster rockets burn out and separate.
I would have like to have been outside on our last cruise to see the shuttle go off. We were at least able to see it for a few seconds from inside the terminal. I have posted the pictures before. If anyone wants to see them I will post them again.
The little white dot, that looks like a star in this pic, is the Space Shuttle Discovery.

Heres our servers
Jeff - please let me know if you want me to remove this photo - its the only one I have of the girls
I gave Lina her first "Behind the Wheel" driving lesson last evening. Our property here is 10,500 sq ft and our trailer is only 12' X 65' so I had her drive around the trailer a couple of times. She was quite nervous, but did OK otherwise. Here is a pic of her "after" the lesson.

Good morning everyone. One kid is better, now the other is complaining about an ear ache!Elaine will be calling the Doctor's office in 8 minutes to try to get Sammi in today. Let's hope we can get some antibiotics in her!
On our last Disney Cruise it would be a tie between Belle or our Head Server Aleksandra.
Samantha made a rose in the Oceaneer's Club for Belle. That evening she saw Belle in the lobby and gave it to her. The next night after dinner we returned to the room and under our door was an envelope with Samantha's name on it. We opened it and was a thank you card from Belle with a personalized autographed picture. On the last night, at the Till we Meet Again in the atrium, Samantha went up to Belle and thanked her for the picture. Belle pulled Sam close and said, "thank you for the rose, I loved it." That really was nice. Anyone CM could have made that card, it easily could have been staffed out, but no, Disney made it magical.
On the first evening in Animator's Aleksandra came by to say hello. Jay hadn't eaten his veggies, so Aleksandra starting teasing him saying that he would have to help Mickey wash dishes. Jay was just glaring at her the whole time thinking, "who is this chick and what's her deal?" He was 4 at the time. The next night, same thing, and Jay actually grinned this time.
On the third night, Aleksandra came and said, "what do you like?" Jay responded, "I like corn." A few minutes later she returned with a plateful of corn on the cob. Jay loves corn on the cob! For the next few nights, until the end of the cruise, she came to the table everynight with a plateful of corn on the cob for Jay.
On the last evening, we had Jay give Aleksandra her tip. She hugged him and thanked him. I really hope she is still around because he really liked her. I made sure I mentioned her on the comment card.
Here she is. Isn't she a cutie. I haven't decided on a name yet. She's 6 weeks old. She's a black lab...just what I was looking for. Mike doesn't know yet. I guess he'll find out when he reads this.![]()
