Good Morning All,

To save time, and my NetZero free internet minutes, I'm writing this on Notepad then will copy and paste on the thread.

Had a nice "relaxing" day at the trailer yesterday. The sun was shining bright and the temp got up to 82* it felt

soooooooooooo goooooooooooood!!!

I heard the space shuttle is now scheduled to take off at 7:43pm on Sunday. We do have plans to go with my mom and Walt

to celebrate an early St. Patty's Day dinner at a German Restaurant they like to eat at. I'm hoping we can get done

early enough so we can watch the shutlle's launch (as long as it takes off that is).

Today, we have to go visit our favorite Walmart and get some food in the house for the rest of our stay.

I think Lina cried herself to sleep last night. She is missing Bryan terribly, then she found out that Bryan's dog


had to be put down yesterday afternoon. I wouldn't be surprised if Lina asks if she can fly home sooner than next

Thursday.

I guess that's all the update for now. Happy Friday the 13th everyone!!!

Although, I think Grandma will fare better than DS this weekend. Not sure how he'll do in his match. It is his first one. Luckily, he is in the "C" group (lowest ranking) this tournament. Grandma on the other hand, has been through her event 99 other times.

Good morning everyone and thanks for your cyber hugs and prayers. DS is home sick today, so I will probably be on the DIS pretty much all day. I am going to slip out to the gym really fast this morning before Elaine has to leave though.

I had a pretty emotional day.

I have a friend who is dying of pancreatic cancer. Today I went to see him in the hospital and he isn't doing well. He was on morphine for the pain and was drifting in and out. He said to me among other things, "thanks for being my friend. We had great times together." He and I have gone to Yankee games together and work together. He kept apologizing to me about being drugged up but I assured him that his comfort is more important than our conversation.

I told him that I wanted him to get his rest and that I would be leaving soon he said to me, "Chris don't leave without praying with me. You are here for me, minister to me." Being a minister I have prayed with people often in hospital settings, but to pray with a friend who has weeks or days to live was a lot to bear. During my prayer I broke down a bit as I thanked the Lord for our friendship and the place that is being prepared for my friend. It was tough. I hope this wasn't the last time I see him, but it could very well have been.

He says he wants to watch the Yankees first game of the season with me. I hope we can enjoy that, but if the Lord takes him home earlier, then at least he will not be in pain anymore.

I have felt pretty emotional all day.

for you, I hope he make it to opening day, if not he will have a front row seat!
