Cass, went out to your site, just to let you know, we are NOT staying at the Radisson.

I don't see us listed for anything else besides "Tag", so no other corrections needed.

Thanks.

True! - we'll squeel together as we both run with our boarding cards no.2 through those big mickey ears:yay:

I'm just looking forward to not sharing a hotel bathroom for once:rotfl2: . Having a bathroom each at home does spoil you when you're squashed into a hotel room:rotfl2:

I'm not sure how we'll cope going from the big villa to a little cabin onboard though:eek:

Me too! :thumbsup2 - definately:thumbsup2

I remember Ellis yelling "theres another one" every 30 seconds when we entered the port:lmao: It was awash with KK t shirts and I loved it:yay: :yay:

I'm tempted to get Neil to wear one with "I'm Bob" in big letters :lmao: ... people will think he's famous as everyone elses will be saying "I'm with Bob" etc:rotfl2:

Hey! - "Bob" might even get upgraded if Disney think he's that special:rotfl2:

Upgrade to the Walt suite Bob?... no problem:thumbsup2 ... party in Bobs suite:dance3:

Hey, we really should go so that my BOB can get us upgraded:thumbsup2

I think I posted these before, but this is what I'm doing....these were the t-shirts I made for the in-laws "cruise kit" that I gave for Christmas. I haven't made mine yet....

Jen, you should be making everyone's shirts!:thumbsup2

I know he needs an outlet, but geez, he's living in Florida now, he should get outside every now and then, or try socializing? dating?

I just want him to have a little fun, but I guess computers and games are his idea of fun.

Um, I don't really understand why he's got 3 video cards, I know they were top of the line, he told me that. But why he needs 3?
I don't know what a physics accelerator is:confused3
But I do know he's got 2 monitors going.

Here's his idea of a fun outing:
He and an college mate went to a local recycling center and bought servers!
He was so excited to buy some big server that some company sent in for recycling for under $100.
But it wasn't working so now he's working on getting it to function.

Well, at least he's not out drinking ( or worse) like I did in college:rolleyes1

Remember Apple was founded by three college guys playing around in a garage with spare parts. Amazon was founded by a kid in his parents basement. etc. etc.

The last line is your truest blessing. I live in fear of that when my kids get old enough to go.

That industry is definitely feeling the pinch. Looking to cut cost everywhere. I am surprised though how cheap eletronic items have become. You'd think they'd be able to sell some of this stuff for a little more money, but they are always looking to "rock bottom" the prices.

Sorry I did not get back to you earlier. I will try to make this short. My company is moving all manufacturing over seas (Malaysia), but they are leaving the HQ here in Phoenix. One of the CFO's met with each shift (4) to explain why they decided to do this. Bottom line is money. The company can save a minimum of 35% a year going over seas. That includes wages, capital expenditures, and taxes. Plus with the overseas governments help by paying the company to operate there, it makes sense to move it. Bottom line is we make the wafers (chips) for about $100 and over there it is about half that. Granted our quality is far better, but it is purely a numbers game across the board. Unfortunately the Warren Act does not apply to us here, but there are some Management looking into some compensation for us. Also to add the company has shut down an Idaho plant and a couple in Europe (Yugoslavia and Ireland) to move to the Asian area.

I think you should be able to have her trained by then - are you going to try to have her in the club? Don't they let you try it if they're close to 3?

We are hoping to have her in the club for our late dinner. If they are close to 3 and fully potty trained, they CAN let your child in but it's up to the counsellors. If not, I am sure she would be happy in Flounders, that kid loves TV :rolleyes1

I saw that, I told Laura, "Man, that Cass is fast!"

Okay, I figured out how to make the siggie work. Cass has a hyperlink embedded in the logo that was appearently forcing a new line. Once I elimated the Hyperlink. BAM! It worked!

:goodvibes

Hmmm, the hyperlink shouldn't make a difference though :3dglasses But I am glad you figured it out :thumbsup2

Great minds think alike.:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hey Everyone! Another busy day on here.

Karen - Thanks for asking about Mack. For all intents and purposes, he is well. He still coughs but nothing like he did.

How is Ellis hanging in there?

Well, here we sit at PHL with a two hour time delay. One Southwest flight to Orlando just left a few minutes ago and they were due to leave at 2:35 nearly 4 hours late.......

Bryan told us earlier today that the Space Shuttle is due to take off at 9:20 tonight, this has caused some of the delays in Orlando. He also just called Lina and said our flight is in route from Orlando to Philly.

Since we had this delay, I decided to fork over a few bucks and get internet service. Hazel is doing her word search puzzles and Lina is reading a magazine.

Maybe I can try and catch up on the thread a little.......

We were halfway to the airport when I remembered I left my cell phone on the charger at home. Luckily Hazel's sister has a key to our house because she is taking care of the cat, so she can unplug my phone when she goes over tomorrow.

Andy,

Don't they have free internet in that airport? Everyone I've been into has free wi-fi.

If you want, you can track the flight up from Orlando if you want. Go to one of the two sites listed below.

Will you be in FL before the take off?

Question of the Day

What's your favorite activity for a sea day? 1st Timers: Which activity are you thinking about?

Catching a movie or just exploring the ship....:goodvibes

Andy,

Doesn't look like the Shuttle is going up today.

STS-119 to Launch No Earlier Than Sunday
Wed, 11 Mar 2009 05:36:03 PM CDT

Space shuttle Discovery’s launch to the International Space Station now is targeted for no earlier than March 15. NASA managers postponed Wednesday’s planned liftoff due to a leak associated with the gaseous hydrogen venting system outside the external fuel tank. The system is used to carry excess hydrogen safely away from the launch pad.

Liftoff on March 15 would be at 7:43 p.m. EDT. The exact launch date is dependent on the work necessary to repair the problem. Managers will meet Thursday at 4 p.m. to further assess the troubleshooting plan.

However, the countdown clock on Nasa's site has it at 1 day, 2 hours and some change. That would put it at 9:00 p.m. tomorrow night.

No freebie here, $7.99 for 24 hours of service..........

At the earliest, we probably won't be in Orlando until 11pm now, shuttle launch is scheduled for 9:20pm.

Bryan just called Lina and said a lot of Southwest planes have just landed in Philly. It's nice having someone with the inside track at the PHL tower.....:thumbsup2

Thanks for the links, I'll try and check them out, but Bryan is calling or texting Lina every few minutes......

$7.99 for 24 hours. Who the Heck wants to sit in an airport for 24 hours? They really need a 3 hour plan.

See my previous post regarding the shuttle. Looks like it is on the 12th according to their calendar.
