I agree with Bernie! You know one of these times you are going to joke about this kind of stuff too often

and then no one will show up to make him feel better cause we all thought he was joking! poor poor lonely Dawg... :sad2:

so tell the truth!! lol :hippie:

Maybe you shouldn't tell her and let her just see Chris and Hazel when you show up at the house. :thumbsup2

Al just picked her up from school and I told her I had some bad news. When I said Chris and Hazel are coming but the kids aren't at first she thought I meant the kids were no longer coming on the cruise. She says her mission is to try and convince Chris to bring them in the summer ;)

Jeff I sent you an email.

Still, depending on the "season", what is the cost of a Value at the time. They are usually under $100 and a lot of time much less than that.

Never stayed in one, so I can't comment on them though.

Well, you can get a nice little 2-room suite at BVsuites which is not far down the road from WDW for about $80-90 so I guess it all depends on what is important to you. We prefer to stay on site but sometimes it's not affordable. We are staying in a 2 bedroom condo, 5 minutes from Disney for $499 US for the whole week in October cus we needed to cut back on the costs.

I wouldnt go as far as "perfect", but its the best chance you've got of half decent weather:rotfl2: ... still bring an umbrella though:rolleyes1

Dis meet in England :yay: - I like it!:yay:

So, what is the RAINIEST month? Just so I know when to visit ;)

I've heard those 40% off cards are out there. Do you know what dates are all included? What about 10/21-10/24? I'm hoping to get something for before the cruise.

I'm with you, if we can get a really good rate, I may splurge for the one night after. Not sure where though. A monorail hotel would be nice, so would Animal Kingdom w/ a safari view, and the Boardwalk area might be nice at that time.

Or, just pocket the money and stay at PO-R. But, since we will be enjoying the hotel mostly that day, it may be a good time to go Deluxe.

Decisions, decision.

The dates for the 40% values are:

The email that I got was for JUST the values :thumbsup2

I'm sure other people got different emails though. Disney does that! Maybe they know I'm cheap :rolleyes1

I thought theirs mentioned deluxe as well, thats why I asked. If we could stay at the Contemporary for MNSSHP, that would be super convenient. It would also be a nice place to relax after getting off the ship.

The email says at the bottom that you can ask about Mods and Deluxes when you call. It also has some fine print...

IMPORTANT DETAILS
The number of rooms available at this savings is limited. Minimum length-of-stay requirements may apply for Friday and Saturday arrivals. Savings based on non-discounted price for same room. Additional per-adult charges apply if more than two adults per room. No group rates or other discounts apply. Advance reservations required. Offer is nontransferable.

Off to make supper :scared: Why can't we be cruising now and someone else can cook supper for me??? :rolleyes1

Thanks for sharing that Cass. The minimum night could kill it for us as we only need the one night.

Hi All....

Checking in from my new laptop, still trying to get adjusted to it, but at least I am online with it......:goodvibes

I still have to finish getting ready for our trip, I won't have much time to do anything tomorrow as the airport shuttle service will be here at 4:45pm to take us to the airport and I have to work until 3pm tomorrow, what was I thinking.......

I have to pack while watching The Biggest Loser, see ya folks later..........:wave2:

The values are nice. The rooms are on the small side, but it is a great way to get on the property without paying a fortune. I really would like to try a moderate sometime to see the difference. Elaine is sometimes hard to convince!

I did not find much difference in room size between all star and French Quarter. It is smaller, so crowds were less, but not much in room size.

i thought we were all invited to stay at Bay lake towers with kathy.:rolleyes1

Sitting her at H & R Block dissing...........

Did one return so far,

Weather is beautiful, amazing how overnight the springbreakers show up, they are everywhere....

Yeah I hear that it is hard to tell the room size difference. I would like to have the option of a sit down restaurant and better pools, and atmosphere.

Don't get me wrong, I have enjoyed the values, but I wouldn't mind giving the moderates a try.

we like them both.:thumbsup2
somes we just didnt feel like paying for all the bells and whistles so we stayed at values. we're always on the run anyways.

later guys, off to watch BL with my sweet polly.

I guess I am the only loser that doesn't watch BL. It's kind of ironic since I am on a muscle mass weight gain program.
