I hear August is perfect there! Just got off Skype with Sean and Cath and was discussing our trip there in 2010. It would be funny if we had a Dis Meet over there!

I wouldnt go as far as "perfect", but its the best chance you've got of half decent weather ... still bring an umbrella though

How is Carries new business going?

We are doing ok here. She actually is not doing it anymore. She is working for Target now and trying to move up the ladder there. I am hanging on to my job by a thread. They had a 50% reduction in the work force last month. My area alone went from 7 people to 3 in one day. But I am thankful I have a job.

Where would you guys be flying into if you go?

We may upgrade post cruise. My mom told me she got a coupon in the mail from Disney yesterday about 40% off lodging on property. She said 10/31 was listed on it. If they can book us 2 rooms with a signficantly reduced rate, we may even splurge on a Deluxe...ie Contemporary for the one night. I am not overly optimistic though.

I've heard those 40% off cards are out there. Do you know what dates are all included? What about 10/21-10/24? I'm hoping to get something for before the cruise.

I'm with you, if we can get a really good rate, I may splurge for the one night after. Not sure where though. A monorail hotel would be nice, so would Animal Kingdom w/ a safari view, and the Boardwalk area might be nice at that time.

Or, just pocket the money and stay at PO-R. But, since we will be enjoying the hotel mostly that day, it may be a good time to go Deluxe.

Good to hear you've still got your job. Its the same everywhere at he moment. Neils company made redundancies too but he was one of the lucky ones and kept his job too. Say hi to Carrie for me. I hope she climbs that Target ladder soon

Maybe a call to reservations to see if a code is listed for us is in order. I know I had one for a different time period and when I asked then, they didn't show anything. Maybe they have something for us now. Can only hope.

Not sure if we'd fly into London or not. There are non-stop from Chicago to Manchester. Not sure about Birmingham.

I'd be out of control with excitement too for a last minute trip like that Did you have any luck finding a hotel? How long of a drive is that for you or did you find some good last minute airfares?

Thanks. Yes at least I have a job for now, but the company is shutting down by the end of Q1 next year and sending everything to Malaysia. (got love it)

Chris that's exciting that you're coming to the area this summer If there's still room on the flight maybe you could bring the kids, I know one young lady that will be very upset to hear that you're coming to the area without the kids. Rachel is bound and determined to find a way to come and visit Rosie and Ryan, she was even looking up airfares last night. Then she had another one of her ideas, she is now thinking she should be a foreign exchange student to England.
