Walt Disney Company's latest carrot to lure vacationers to its resort hotels and theme parks is a meal ticket of sorts.

Customers who buy a five-night/six-day room and theme park ticket package for stays between Aug. 16 and Oct. 3 will receive meals as part of the deal.
The incentive offers one quick-service meal, one snack and one table-service meal at the more than 100 restaurants for each night of the package. Reservations must be made by June 21. The dining program is the latest deal being by Disney, and other area attractions, to boost business. Smith Travel Research reported March 23 that the February occupancy rate of Orlando area hotels dropped nearly 12.5 percent from February 2008 to 65.9 percent last month. February is generally one of the strongest months for the area's hotels. A year earlier, 75.3 percent of rooms were occupied. The numbers do not include hotels on Disney property.

Sorry Neil. I stole your fo.:rolleyes1
Now we're even, since you stole my heart.:laughing:

Thats funny! I have had sales assistants think I am mad plenty of times before. I was travelling on business in winter of 2002 while living in Maine. The day before travelling, we found out via ultrasound that Jay was indeed a boy. This was about 3 months before Elaine gave birth to him. While travelling, I switched planes at NYC LaGuardia Airport. While walking through the terminal I saw a cute NY Yankees baby outfit. I just had to buy it! While checking out, I am grinning ear to ear telling the clerk, "I found out yesterday I am having a son!" She looked at me as if to say, "and you're telling me this because?" Despite her apparant NY attitude and lack of interest, I was still smiling as I paid, and wished her a good day.

Here he is, 6 years later at his first Yankee game.

What a cute son you have Chris, looks like he had a great birthday too.

Thanks. He is a character. Some of you will see him doing his thing in the pool at the Radisson on Friday 10/23. He hangs out on the steps and usually doesn't venture far from them. We are hoping he is more comfortable in the water by the time the cruise comes. We are spending a week at Elaine's Uncle's house in Georgia in July. He has a very nice inground pool, so I am hoping,

1) that Samantha actually learns how to swim that week. She pretty much has the concept but isn't quite comfortable. At CC the last cruise, she was doggypaddling between us in 5 ft of water, but was nervous.

And...

2) That Jay overcomes some of his anxiety in the water and ventures away from the steps. Perhaps with some help, I can get him swimming that week as well.
:thumbsup2

Hazel was going to make tacos, but I asked her to fix a Joe Corbi White Pizza....:goodvibes
I was never really a taco fan, but I think I am converting. :goodvibes Elaine wanted tacos tonight since we have some of the teens here. They help her with the After School Program, then eat with us, then go to youth programs.

yep, I hope they keep that free dining in Sept. going a few more years. I'd like to take advantage of it.
