Question of the Day. (Again, thanks Kathy)

Where is your favorite character meal?

That's a hard one. Based on total experience, it would be Liberty Tree Tavern (they'd win on food too). Based on characters, again we haven't been to too many, but I would say Crystal Palace. Even though that is Pooh and friends, DS was 3, going on 4 at the time, and it was a great experience.

Now if you asked me the worse, and yes there can be one, it would be hands down Mickey's Backyard Barbecue. What a dissaster of a character experience. :sad2:

Good morning everyone...

Its been a busy start to the day already. DS had a dentist appointment at 8:30, then they had a 90 minute delay due to the snow, so I had to run back to the house to put them on the bus. Finally at the office around 10:15 today.

The order of the day is a budget revision and to DIS. Has anyone been following the news about the new ships? I know Andy posted the link yesterday. I think they will be pretty nice ships!

Well, good morning peeps:goodvibes

Its raining and grey outside but thats not going to spoil my good mood.

Neil finally came home late last night.... and he'd finally fixed the stoooopid machine:banana: ... it cost many thousands of £ in parts and many loooong hours of work, but its saved them scrapping a £3 million machine.

Ellis was good at school yesterday:woohoo: (for the first time in weeks:rolleyes1 ) and my back isnt hurting too much today:woohoo: :yay:
Isn't it amazing how when stress goes away, pain goes with it.

Question of the Day. (Again, thanks Kathy)

Where is your favorite character meal?

My answer: I've only been to one, so Parrot Cay on the Magic. :)
Liberty Tree Tavern, followed by the Princess breakfast at Epcot.

Cass, you forgot: "And for respect of all parties involved, we're keeping this show as intimate as possible". :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
THAT MAN(and I use that term lightly) WAS A DOG!!! UGH I just wanted to reach thru that tv and smack him.

'Ohana character breakfast!!! Mickey, Pluto, Lilo and STITCH! Plus Mickey waffles!!! I'm getting excited just thinking about it! :yay:
I guess it must be me, since lots of people watch, but I find that show incredibly brutal. Especially when it gets down to just two people.

I took my DD to this in 2006 and didn't have 1 character come to the table. I was very disappointed.

I have only been to a couple, and neither one really did anything for me. However, on our next trip to WDW (vacation not MNSSHP), I would really like to try Chef Mickey's for lunch.

My guess would be Mimi or Nancy G.

Nope, but also good guesses. Come to think of it, it does sound a lot like MG, but she didn't say it :lmao:

Wow - that's incredible! I've been there 3 times and the characters were all over us, even though we didn't have any kids with us!

So it is not Bernie, Nancy G, or Mimi.

I can only think of two other people and my first guess would be Paige.

Second guess (which is actually my 4th) would be Cass.

But I'm thinking Paige.

Sorry Cass, I was doing taxes.

So, did the girl from WI (she's from MI originally) get him in the end? If it's that one, she works at Suz' office. I'm not exactly sure of her name, I think it was Molly.

Hmmm....well I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't watched it yet, so if you want to know...highlight the text down below..

He originally chose Melissa from Dallas at the end of the show and then things didn't turn out as well as he hoped, although she still doesn't understand why and then at the live show last night, he officially broke up with Melissa and asked Molly if she would take him back and she said yes!

:rolleyes1

DONT hire one:scared: - they are in a disgusting state. We had about 10 carseats brought out to us and I owuldnt hve put Ellis into a single one:scared: . They were absolutely filthy and awful. We drove to the nearest Walmart and bought one for about $30. (It was about $8 a day hire anyway).

Will she be too little for a booster? They are only about $20 in Walmart - we buy one every time we go:rotfl2:

Yeah, those are some of the horror stories I've read about :scared1: Unfortunately, she needs more than just a booster but no big deal, we will just check it with our luggage, the airlines take them for free :thumbsup2 My only worry was taking it on the ship but thanks to all my BOBer friends, I will be able to store it in a trunk :woohoo:

I would have to say Chef Mickeys, because of all the napkin twirling and the parmesan mashed potatoes ;)

Oh yeah, silly me! At least Chris was telling the truth though, it was very dramatic and very emotional....did you hear what she called him??? :lmao:

It is brutal! It's not really practical to be engaged to someone after only 6 weeks. If they had a whole 6 weeks together then maybe but the first 4 weeks, they barely get to be with the guy and it's often with other girls  No thanks :scared:

But it sure makes for some damn good TV sometimes :happytv:

:rotfl: I'd gone to bed:lmao:

You are forgiven ;)

Yes we are going to park at the port. We are staying at the Radisson the night before but DH was not impressed with their security so he insists on parking at the port he thinks the security is better. We can arrange to meet somewhere that morning to make the switch. DD will be flying in that morning but will be riding the bus from the airport so we will probably get there earlyto get checked in and enjoy the terminal.

I haven't heard anything bad about parking there, is there something he knows that we don't??? :confused3

Just a heads up, Chef Mick only opens his doors for lunch when there's a billion people in his land...like summers and xmas ;)

DS and I today had one of our cruise planning discussions on the way to the dentist office. We do that when we have our alone time. Does anyone else do this with their kids??

But anyway...I was asking about planes. Does he want to fly on a blue plane (Southwest) or a white plane (Delta). At first he said blue, but changed his mind and said, "we flew on blue last time so how about white this time. We can switch dad."

Then we mentioned MNSSHP. I asked him what rides we will have to go on. He said he wanted to go on Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain, the rugs, and Space Mountain "by himself." I asked about Haunted Mansion and his reply was, "oh definitely." He said to me, "Dad, I'm not a chicken anymore." :lmao: :rotfl2:

Cass, if it is not a booster, you can actually use it in the airplane if it is FAA approved. We did that with DS until he couldn't sit in it anymore. It boosted him up so he could look out the window (they have to be next to the window if they are in the seat) and because he was constrained, he usually fell asleep while we were flying. It was a double bonus. :thumbsup2

She had been going out there almost every weekend from the end though. So she was getting time with him.

And I don't know, some would say you could run to the alter in less than 6 weeks.

I am so happy to be home for lunch, I am one pooped pup again today, but am feeling soooooooooooo much better than yesterday!!! :thumbsup2

Yeah, but there's no way I am doing that again! It was a huge pain to haul through 3 airports (Calgary, Chicago and then Orlando) and she doesn't even like sitting in her chair in the car here. I plan on buying the CARES belt so that she can sit in the seat, which I think she will like much better than being stuck in that chair :scared: Plus this chair is way bigger than her baby one that we had last time!

Yes, if she spent the whole 6 weeks with him, I could understand and yes she was there at the end but the first 4 weeks she barely got to be with him. They had a one-on-one date in the tent but that's it. Every other time she was vying for his attention with 5-6 other girls. So really, they only started REALLY dating like a normal relationship when they got to New Zealand.
