I've heard quite a bit about the pancake sisters ... can someone explain this to me? I'm guessing it has to do with a previous cruise experience.

Dee these are the original Pancake Sisters.
The Girls were all on the 2008Members Cruise. Kathy can do a better job than me explaining it . Go for it Kathy.
There are other members also including my wife Nancy.

Thats funny I can totally relate. My grandparents used to live off Exit 90 or 91 off the Parkway, and I used to say that. It depended on which direction you were travelling as to what exit you got off. 90 was a northbound exit, 91 was the southbound.

When I was in highschool/college I dated a girl who lived off Exit 11 off the Turnpike. She used to take one of our friends home who lived off another exit, I want to say 4.

Exits??? We have three traffic lights

I see all these posts about Casey's. We go there regularily. Since Suz is one to sit on the curb for way too long before a parade, we always sit outside of Casey's. We then get DS a hot dog for dinner (I usually sneak one too). You can't sit there for that long smelling them and not getting one.

Just had one in Dec with mustard & Saurkraut!!!

My favorite Lent suppers:

Grilled cheese and tomato soup (tonight!)
Pizza with extra cheese
And of course PANCAKES!!!

Ours are shrimp. cheese Quesidilla, cheese pizza!!!

went to' bunco tonight, didn't win, but ate & drank- only cheese pizza, spinache dip and a few desserts, and a fe Pina Colada's- was not driving....

Lina and Bryan just left for their anniversary dinner, here is a pic of them before they left.

He finished his second round of antibiotics today - still has steroids. He is feeling a bit better, but he is not 100% - we'll take better! Thanks for asking!!!

So here I wait 3 months after they Illegally took the money out.....better get here soon before I have to make good on my word. But then again it may just get me on the BOB cruise if I do.

Good saturday morning peeps. Just a quick check in before I zoom Ellis off to karate. I'm goig to stay this time becasue the drive there and back will do my back in without having to go home then back out to fetch him, so I guess I'm in for a 2 hour sit this morning

I'll take a book ... a disney book

Neil just called. He should just be back tonight in time for my friends birthday meal He'll have time for a speedy shower, jump into clean clothes then straight back out again. Poor guy hasnt sat down in 3 weeks.
He's working tomorrow aswell - we need the money.

I'm feeling in a better mood this morning.. but that could change in an instant if Ellis decides to "perform" He's been "performing" a lot lately

Good Morning All..........

Woke up at 2am to the sound of the front door closing and then hearing Bryan's car pull away. Lina told me they had an absolutely wonderful time. They went to this very charming, romantic(soft lighting, soft music playing in the background) restaurant in Philly, it was once an old style Philadelphia home and was converted into a restaurant. Lina also told me, while they were eating dinner "their song" came on, she said she felt goose bumps on her arms when the song started playing.

As an anniversary gift, they each had written and exchanged letters. Lina read the letter to me that Bryan had written to her. Before Lina even got halfway into the letter she was choking up and tears were streaming down her cheeks. Of course, being the big old softy that I am, I started welling up inside as well. It was the most caring, touching, loving letter. Young love, so sweet....

Bryan is cooking dinner for Lina this evening. I have to drop her off around 5pm, so I guess Hazel and I will go out and have dinner tonight ourselves. We have Friendly's coupons, and there is a Friendly's restaurant a few minutes drive from where Bryan lives. Sounds like a no brainer to me.......

Never heard of that kind of a cake walk. Is it just tons of cakes & desserts in a long row for sale? We wouldn't mind if you snapped a picture or two for us. I could stare at a picture of cake for hours.

There is a link on the first page of the thread - it explains it fully if you're interested. When we actually requested the pancakes in Palo, our precious waiter was befuddled. When he saw what we did with them, the look on his face was priceless!

Flame Tree Barbecue in AK! Not only is the pulled pork sandwich my favorite lunch item in WDW, but I just LOVE the beautiful Asian gardens where the tables are located. It really makes you feel like you're in another world.
