Yep, eating a tossed salad for lunch and trying to catch up on the DIS and with my e-mails. Some of us poor saps still have to work you know......:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

It feels soooooooooooooo nice outside, a little windy, but 60* and partly :sunny:.......:goodvibes

The sun is shining through my office window right on my back warming me up. I am thinking the car might actually be hot when I get in it here in a few minutes.

yum, there is not much cooking going on at our hour these days.

Lent has begun, so I have to find non meat things to eat on Fridays...Send some of that shrimp this way!!

This way too! I love shrimp. :thumbsup2

My favorite Lent suppers:

Grilled cheese and tomato soup (tonight!)
Pizza with extra cheese
And of course PANCAKES!!!

How about potato pancakes or even better yet, zucchini pancakes. :cloud9:

Dan you can have mine too

Mine too Dan. I'm not a fan of lobster at all. :sad2:

Well, this working sap needs to get back on the road, have a great afternoon Walt.......;) ;) ;)

Walt, congrats on the retirement. I have no doubts that you will enjoy your new found time.

I see all these posts about Casey's. We go there regularily. Since Suz is one to sit on the curb for way too long before a parade, we always sit outside of Casey's. We then get DS a hot dog for dinner (I usually sneak one too). You can't sit there for that long smelling them and not getting one.

Well, except for someone flying in stealth mode, it looks like no one is around right now.

My grandma used to make potato pancakes - yummy! With applesauce (apple baby slop) even better!

The Best, especially for the children, love the piano music and people watching..Of course, don't feed the birds...Also, have a choice of apples or french fries...French Fries are my choice, since I am on vacation...:thumbsup2

Walt :cool1:

I was once in MK on Frank's birthday, without Frank, and one of friends suggested that I call Frank on my cell and have the piano player from Casey's Corner sing Happy Birthday to him over the phone! So he got a REAL, live Happy Birthday from the Magic Kingdom, even though he was home in CT. :cloud9:

have to ask, what is FO?:confused3

Here's the explanation - it's also listed on Page 1 of this thread:

Incase anyone is wondering what the FO game we play here on the B.O.B. cruise meets thread, he is the explanation:

FO is a game (for lack of a better description) that was started on the Konked Kruiser thread that some of us belonged to for the October 07 cruise. Don't ask me who started it or how.

Anyway, the game in a nutshell....if you post, and your post is the beginning of a page, then you try to get the second post on the page also. It means you have started a "Fresh One" or "First One" (I forget what the actual term was).

Now, this isn't always as easy as it seems - if there are multiple posters on at the same time, and someone else gets the second post, you don't get to "claim the FO". The 40 second rule between postings comes into play.

Todays Question of the Day is brought to you by Kathy:

What's your favorite mode of Disney transportation? (monorail, boat, etc)

My answer: I'm being creative here and answering The Disney Magic. :goodvibes (Otherwise the monorail).:cutie:

I love the boat ride back to the parking lot from the Magic Kingdom while the fireworks are going off.

Today would have been our daughter BJ's 20th Birthday......Happy Birthday Sweet Baby Girl.....:lovestruc

Hey Everyone,

I'm way behind and have a lot of reading to do to get caught up again it seems. I'll have to make myself a cup of tea and get settled in later tonight when my family is out.:surfweb:

I just called DCL. We had the late dining time but were on a wait list for early. They have already switched us to early - hooray for us. :cheer2: We find this works much better for our kids and my parents, if they end up coming. Just thought I'd let you know as I know that some of you are wanting to be switched over as well.

Have a great night!!!

Congrats, that's great news. We love early dining also.
