I could just look at these all day long   Feel better soon Heather!

Poor Neil is stuck at work, 3 hours drive away, and cant get the machine fixed. He has no electricians available, no other engineers, and the equipment is not repairable. He doesnt even know if he can get a hotel tonight:sad2:

I think he needs some dust stuffpixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: for Neil!

Cass may have a current pic of that beach. I think it is Maho Beach. You can try to google it and see if there are any recent pics.

The beach is not gone really, it is still there, just that it's much smaller now. Also the Sunset Beach Bar is gone too but I read somewhere that there will be a replacement soon! When we were there, we waited and waited and waited for the KLM and Air France 747's to land but they were delayed and we had to get back to the ship. There is a bridge that goes up on the way back to the ship, so make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to get back if you go to Maho :thumbsup2

Ok, I did a little research and found out some info on Maho...

The Sunset Beach Bar was shut down (owner didn't pay his taxes :rolleyes1 ) and was almost destroyed in a big hurricane last year. New owners have rebuilt it and it is now open. The beach is still there but not much beach left. The only 747's that land there anymore are Corsair's and they don't land on Tuesdays which is the day we will be there.

The morning's mostly have small planes land and the bigger ones come later in the afternoon.

Here's the big jet schedule from last fall and should be similar to this fall's schedule.

There are two sets of main gear on either side. You are seeing just the one side of the main gear. Underneath the right wing is another pair. The one set would be angled down like that.

And I think I see the Spanish Inquisition hiding behind the landing gear!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

You're joking right?

Nope. I actually had a business card from one of the cab companies with a picture of the tire marks! :scared1: I wonder if, whoever was the cab at the time, got the ride for free?

Sorry, it is not a wide angle lens. :lmao:

(I'll let you decide if I'm referring to my gut size or something else :rolleyes1 )

Hey Hey - it's not even 9 o'clock on the EAST COAST yet!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I got my jammies on Cass - I'm with you guys in spirit!

Good evening everyone...My DIS time in the evening has and will be limited for the foreseable future. My work laptop is off to IT for repairs and upgrades, so we only have our laptop at home to share. I think I have some time, but I am sure Elaine will ask for it soon enough. Then again, tonight is American Idol night so perhaps not! :thumbsup2

Thanks for asking, Andy. He is somewhat better - on another round of steroids, an inhaler, and another high powered anti-biotic. I hope this does it for him. I have started having the "heavy chest" feeling and coughing, so I am just trying to avoid getting it. He worked at home today but worked for 8 hours - he just had to stop every now and then and rest. Thanks again for asking - that's really thoughtful of you!

Hey Mimi - make sure he drinks a lot of water. That is really important when you're trying to clear up your lungs!

   for Mack!

My boss sent me an email yesterday and said 'hey, you want a new Dell with a flat panel monitor?' to which I replied 'is this a trick question?' :lmao:

For anyone who's interested, I just updated my trippie with an entry for La Nouba. I thought this would be a short one, but I apparently I got caught up in the moment and ended up writing a little book.

I hope you have as much fun reading it as I had writing it!

We are stuck with IBM/lenovo. At work I have a desktop with a flat panel, then I have a lenovo laptop. The CD drive broke, but it needed memory and software upgrades(Office 2007, Lotus Notes 8), so we are killing two birds with one stone.

I wish the Army would go with Mac's!

Good luck with Office 2007! :scared1: my company has temporarily ceased the forced migrations to 2007 due to compatibility issues

I LOVE my MacBook!

The Army waited a year or so to check it out and let Microsoft work the bugs out. I guess they feel safe now. :confused3

Our IT guys are really something. We have so many precautions! We have to change our log on informaiton monthly and we cannot use the previous 10 passwords. We have to have alpha, numeric, caps and lowercase as well.

I can't install any programs, not even stuff like Flash onto my computer without IT approval. Forget about iTunes! Thank God for my personal Dell laptop.

Glad he is feeling better, stay away from the germs!!!

I'm guessing you are OK with Office 2007 - it's sounds like they are converting everyone, so you should be OK. We are having compatibility issues because we can't control what our customers are using. We end up exchanging a lot of WORD, EXCEL and PPT docs with our customers and we've had problems going back and forth between Office versions.

Hi all,

I used the ipod at work today also. they were cutting tiles on the condo upstairs. It was like being in the destist.
