I have a funny story..

Yesterday I passed my friend in the playground and asked if she planned on having a coffee the next morning like we normally do on a Tuesday morning with a few other moms. She looked at me blankly and said "its Tuesday today Karen, you missed it"

Anyway, this afternoon about 10 Moms were lined up waiting for me to go past... as I walk past they all shout "ITS WEDNESDAY TODAY KAREN" I wonder if they'll be there tomorrow to tell me its Thursday

That'll teach me for being away from DIS for 24hrs...it takes ages to catch up and now it's time for me to say goodnight. I have a sore throat and I need to go and take something for it.

Made it to the mid 40's today with lots of sun, boy did that feel good walking around this afternoon!!!

Karen: Those were some great pictures at Maho Beach. I had the chance to go in 2005 but passed on it. Now I wish I wouldn't have.

Wow, what a great shot! I've landed there a couple of times and it's pretty scary to be IN the plane as well!

There are a couple of cabs in St. Bart's that actually have tire marks on their roofs from landing planes!

Cass - Those curls of Kira's are adorable!

That says, "We're back" to us as well We love to hurry up to the reveal on Main Street when we get there and have ti be the last thing when we leave. I must say though, we've been going so much recently, that this has not been a "necessity" anymore. I love that!!!!

Poor Neil is stuck at work, 3 hours drive away, and cant get the machine fixed. He has no electricians available, no other engineers, and the equipment is not repairable. He doesnt even know if he can get a hotel tonight

I think he needs some dust stuff

Things going well today?

Sorry for the late response, but the reason why and answer to your question can be summed up in one word - Busy.

It is month-end so payroll and a large check run. Next week is busier with month-end closing and financial statement prep. The week of the 15th is the worst of the month though. 3rd week of the month is my slow time. That's usually when I go on vacation.

Heather, I hope your sore throat goes away and it doesn't turn into anything else.

Thanks for asking, Andy. He is somewhat better - on another round of steroids, an inhaler, and another high powered anti-biotic. I hope this does it for him. I have started having the "heavy chest" feeling and coughing, so I am just trying to avoid getting it. He worked at home today but worked for 8 hours - he just had to stop every now and then and rest. Thanks again for asking - that's really thoughtful of you!

We just had our Winter Weather Advisory moved south to include the county we live in. Just to the north of us there is now a Ice Storm Warning.

The weather bulletins have moved down one county across the state and I believe it will move down one more before the storm gets here, thus covering all of SE Wiscosnsin.

We are supposed to be in the 50's tomorrow, the 60's Friday with rain, then the temps drop over the weekend with possible rain and or rain/sn*w mix on Sunday. I can't wait for the 60's++ to get here and stay!!!
