How many days do you recommend someone do DC?

A lot more than we're going. But that will just mean we'll be going back.

Sounds like it will be a really fun time. How far a drive is it for you?

35 minutes. We are still taking Julia to her game on Saturday. One of her little friends that will be there is going to come with us to watch her cheer.

Ours was extremely simple to set up. Just go to Best Buy and ask for Linksys. They'll get you what you need. Should only be about $60 or $70.

I agree. It is very emotional to stand there and just watch others read the names and see their emotions.

When I was like, 7th grade, I had one of those bracelets that had the name of an MIA serviceman on it. I never knew what happened to my guy. Many years later, I looked up his name when I got to The Wall, and it was on there. I couldn't believe I was crying my eyes out over this guy I never met.

That is so sad. It is just a very emotional place. I can't imagine anyone can go there and not well up with emotion.

Yeah I am thinking about going to DC then to WDW for Sarah's birthday. Believe it or not I took the dates that we are looking at for flights that match this year and it was only 13 dollars more to fly from Sac to DC then DC to WDW then WDW to Sac
Then just flyin from Sac to WDW

The last time Suz and I were there, the Vietnam wall was still in its fund raising stage. That's how long ago it has been since we went.

I'm sure it will be one of the stops while we're there. Suz also want to do the Holocaust museum.

Depends on the airline. Luckily, there are more and more letting you book the one-way tickets as opposed to the round-trip. Makes trip planning a lot easier.

When we went to Mexico last month, we went down on American and back on United.

I've even seen that American will let you do a one-way to FL in October. They use to always require the return trip.

Times are changing when they can't fill their planes.
