I am new here and am sailing with you all on October 24th with my husband and 7 year old son. We just made reservations yesterday.It will be our 10th year anniversary. We are in California. Just wanted to say hello!

Welcome Gina. It's always nice to have another Californian onboard. We're a little over an hour south of you. Is this your first DCL cruise? It's our second. I'm sailing with my wife, Laura. Son, Stuart (8 at the time of the cruise) and Daughter, Leah (5 at the time of the cruise.)

Well, I have one more thing done....booked our ground transportation from the hotel to port.

I think that is the last reservation I have to make until booking Palo and shore excursions.

There wasn't really enough snow or ice on the ground that needed wearing those ice cleats. She stepped out of the car, and down she went. I think the curb had a tiny thin layer of black ice and that's what she stepped on, then went crashing to the ground. She was on the ground before she even know what happened. Very scary.

We have some friends coming over for dinner and I am making spaghetti My assistant cooker is helping me out She does a job I give her and then yells out GOOD HELPING KIRA!!!

I've been asking myself that question all day!!! I'm so embarrassed, especially since so many people said it was their favorite place to hang out.

Then again, for 3 of the cruises I had my seeing-eye-brother with me, who knows where every nook, cranny and doorknob is on either ship! He really enables me because he always knows where he's going and I don't have to think!

I'm the one who gives directions like 'make a right where the Shop Rite used to be' and 'it's right across from the pizza place that burned down'. Let that be a warning to you all, don't ask me for directions to anything!

If it hadnt been for Jeff (my personal tour guide) I would have missed loads... and I still dint get to the theatre, sap, gym, deck 7

I hear ya on the empty nest syndrome. Kristin has been out of the house since November and I still miss her horribly.

Our fur-baby stays out in the house all day while we are gone (or while we're there), but what is hard for us is when we go palces that do not allow fur-children. We always try to find accomodations where fur-children are allowed. She really doesn't understand the whole Disney deal at all - we took her to Florida with us the last time we went. She knew we were going to Mickey's house, and she just didn't get why a mouse, a duck, a two dogs could go in, but she couldn't.She thinks WDW is not all we make it to be.

WELCOME GINA AND FAMILY I'm one of the Nancy's here on the BOB cruise. I'm cruising with my DH Chuck (Charlie Tuna) and my kids Jesse & Kristin (Team Fun Pants) and Tony & Stacy (ST Cruisers).

Baahaaa... No brainiac here. He's the smart one. He wouldn't go to college. He was 19th out of 435 classmates.

He just wanted to get married. He was hooked.
