Question of the day:
What is your favorite ride or attraction?

My answer: Ride: DCL, Attraction: DCL (I'm very "attracted" to that ship!):goodvibes

That's a hard one to answer but I think my new favorite is Toy Story Midway Mania, I didn't score very high but I really had fun on that one :thumbsup2 I also really like Everest alot.

I know Al would say his favorite is Soarin' and Rachel would probably say Tower of Terror or Rockin Rollercoaster.

Thanks Cheryl. I can now plan the non-cruise portion of our trip.

Bad thing is I'm not home when they go on sale, so I'll have to call for tickets. Recommendation for people concerned about not making it on the trip, make sure you spend the little extra money and have them mailed to you. If you don't go, you could sell them to someone. If you do will-call, not sure what you can do. Are the tickets cancelable?

I'm not sure but I think I remember from the last time we went, which was in 2006, that they were non-refundable.

It really does make it fun when you run into people you know all over the place. I even found a walking buddy last time:banana: , made new friends - even if they are Red Sox fans.......:rotfl2:

I know, I can't believe how much fun we had just hanging out in the terminal, before we even got on the boat!

I know your walking buddy has got his sneakers all ready to go. Maybe I should make him wear a Yankees t-shirt? :lmao:

Kathy when are you planning on staying in a Treehouse Villa? I booked one for us for the Sat. night when we get off the cruise :cool1:

We have the money put to the side for the entire trip, but it doesn't make much sense to be blowing $4500.00 on a vacation when that money could be better used for ..... let's say.....our mortgage! I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but I'm not so sure it'll help.

I've been keeping my fingers crossed for you too and saying some prayers too    pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: Every time Al's boss calls I cross my fingers that he's just calling to say where they are working the next day and that he is not bearing bad news. My nieces husband recently lost his job, this is the second time in a little over a year that a company that he has worked for has downsized and he was one to go both times :sad2:

Now we just have to wait for WDW to release discounted rates on the rooms. Hoping for 30%-40% off. Figure with the deals and discounts they've been putting out there, it shouldn't be out of the question.

pixiedust:pixiedust: There sure have been some good deals out there so hopefully they will have them for Oct. too!

ack... it is so hard when that happens... I try to learn as many jobs as I can everywhere I ever work so that when things like that are coming I look better to keep...but it dosen't always work... :wizard: for you

So, besides rooms before and after, I think we just need the excursion and Palo ressies at 90 days. :woohoo:

All down hill after that. :cool1:

What is the magic date we previous cruisers can book Palo and excursions? Will it be a Sat. night again?

Bernie are you staying the same place as Cass before the cruise? Are you staying any time after the cruise or are you flying home when you get off the ship on Sat.?

Wow, good for you! I'll expect a complete report since we won't be there until January 2010. We're doing 2 nights at BLT then 4 nights in the Treehouse.

Maybe you need to BYOB? (Bring Your Own BUN!) Besides, Mikey seemed to think that you could take care this situation before October :rolleyes1

Have a FABULOUS time Annette! Hopefully, you will find some time to give us live updates. Tell Amanda hi as well!

Have a Magical time Amanda and Annette at my favorite place in the world. Diane
