I booked with Dreams and the fuel surcharge was removed in the form of shipboard credit. If I remember, they will be evaulating it quarterly to determine the proper amount to add for credit. I will pull up the email in a few.

Are you sure about that? I bet if you look at your original itinerary from DCL with the surcharge on it and then pull up your reservation on DCL's site, the fare is still the same. I don't think Dreams was pulling it off, rather letting DCL monitor it quarterly and if they don't reinstitute it, they will give us an OBC when we cruise.

Yes thats exactly what they did. I needed the numbers guy to phrase correctly for me.

I am excited about the OBC. I am getting it through Dreams, I will pay the balance with my Disney Chase, and if we get this, I will have a nice amount on the OBC.

Cruise Related Question Alert.


So, seeing that I just got the fuel surcharge removed from a couple of my future cruises today, has anyone here called to get it removed from the BOB cruise?

I know we talked about it and some were talking about leaving it becasue there were rumors about it going to a room credit if it doesn't come back and if you did remove it, and it did come back, you'd have to pay it.

I'm rethinking this and I may have Dreams request it for me. Even if it comes back, I'll have to pay it, but I think I'd rather have the $ in my pocket (or should I say off my final bill), than to wait for a OBC.

Thoughts?

I booked through AAA and they said Disney removed $56 from the final balance I own in August.
