We switched from Cingular/AT&T to Verizon Wireless and our Verizon service is horrible, many more dropped calls with Verizon than we ever had with Cingular/AT&T. The only reason we switched is because Lina had more friends with Verizon and the texting plan was better for her. Once our service plan ends in August, I think Hazel and I are going back to AT&T and Lina can stay with Verizon if she wants, she can get her own plan then.......

Thats funny Andy because our whole family is with verison and we have no problems what so ever. Im a retired General Dynamics employee from Bath Iron Works here in Maine and they give retired people with GD 20% discount off our monthly bill.
Our whole family is with Verison we have great tower signel. Myself Nancy my three boys and ther wives are with verison.

Dan

You sound like AFEG. Every night on the repo it was either Chicken or Steak. Granted he had a potato on the side and either broccoli or cauliflower. That was dinner pretty much for 15 nights.

Oh, can't forget all the chicken fingers he had in the afternoon as well.

Surprisingly, he had a pizza with tuna fish on it in Palo though.

What about the curry and roast beef and yorkshire pudding we had one evening.

Hmmm, only ONE meal Nancy????? :scared1:

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie!!!!!!!!!! :lovestruc Oh wait, that's not a meal...ok....

For an appy...

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie

FINE! Hot dog and fries and...

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie :woohoo:

I'm with you Cass.

Oh, is that what those things were??? :confused3

Speaking of dessert, I need to post my favorite from the Flying Fish:

Key Lime pie, with Oreo crust. The white stuff on top isn't whipped cream, it's panna cotta! Over to the left is pineapple sorbet on a vanilla cookie! :cloud9: Oh wait, I forgot the 'chocolate accoutrements'!

That looks yummy. Give me desserts every time.

Happy birthday Loganparty: :bday: party: :bday: party: :bday:

How about syrup on breakfast sausages. I know that one gets you Brits going too. :rotfl:

:scared: I'd rather eat the plate

I'll send you what I find, but you're probably looking at $65-$75 for the one day. However, this is without any insurance which I think you need, correct? We are covered by our auto insurance and credit cards. If I remember correctly, you are not.

You may want to consider one-way DCL transfers instead. Those should be $35 each, so a total of $105. However, if you don't leave until late afternoon, that may not be best either.

We definitely need a car as we're off to Kennedy that day then onto DTD for dinner then our flight home later that evening. Its gonna be a loooong day

If money was no object and neither is time, name ONE place you'd like to spend 1 week in.

My answer: A new Disney ship on a cruise to Hawaii :lovestruc

Ooooh Nancy - I'd be right behind you... I'd book the Walt suite - theres plenty of room for us all:goodvibes

Nothing special, he just wanted cinniman rolls. I had to go heat the oven and all, you know. :rotfl2:

Tonight we are going for Italian. He loves his pasta. We're taking him to Bravo.

Then the kid, for his treat for school, says he wants to take cheese, sausage and crackers. What happen to cupcakes, cookies or brownies? :confused3

Tell you, this kid is strange. Must take after his mom. :rotfl2:

Cheese and crackers sound good to me:thumbsup2 - maybe its you thats wierd and not Logan or Suz:rolleyes1 :lmao: just kidding:flower3:

This one's easy.....DH and I would be all over the UK, looking at castles.

If we weren't limited by time either, it would be the UK to look at castles, then Germany to look at castles.

Really?... England?... you must be mad:rotfl2: ... I'd choose to be anywhere BUT England:lmao:

Still no snow here.:sad1: Did Neil make it to Plymouth okay?

Yes thanks, it was down to one lane in parts and theres flooding where he is, but he got there. He's still there:rolleyes: - hopefully due home tomorrow or Thursday.

ok - you asked for it, we could use some company
These are from yesterday- Navarre Beach where we were bike riding. The road is still closed from Hurrican Ivan, but you can bike & walk.

This beach has been renourished so the sand is not as white as Destin, it needs a few years in the sun.

Dan we get a 15% discount from Verizon as Salvation Army employees. I just had to show either a business card, or insurance card to the sales rep.

So here's a question, why is it 3.5X as much to fly from Chicago to the UK than it is for the UK to fly to Chicago? :confused3

Same airline and flights, just reversing the course. It doesn't matter if the flight there is on the same day as what would be the UKers return flight. They are just robbing us blind for that.

Sorry UKers, if I could have gotten the $378 RT ($328 for DS), we'd be there. Instead, it is $1,344 with no child discounts per ticket.

Wow! - thats steep!:scared1: - please dont complain though - its probably the one and only thing we get cheaper than you do:rotfl2: ... everything else is twice as much money and half the quality or portion size:rolleyes:

We are thinking of doing that too. Its on St Thomas right. I get confused which island has what on it? Need to do more research:thumbsup2

Me too, I havent even begun to research it yet. All my trvel planning except car hire is done thoguh:thumbsup2

I hate shopping. I avoid it like the plague.

You're a man,... men just dont "get it"

PFFFFFT!!!!:snooty:

I love it when you do this:lmao: ... it says so much in so few letters:lmao:

I can just see you doing it now:lmao:

Suz gets 20% off through her office with Verizon. In a recent Consumer Report, Verizon ranked either 1 or 2 in all the major markets for service.

We're happy with it here.

Alaskan cruise

Alaska = cold = :scared:

Okay, I'm ready. My dream vacation would be to travel Europe. I would like to take Erika my youngest daughter to see Germany where she was born. Di

Parts of Germany are beautiful. Neil works for a german company and goes on business most years to Heidelberg. Its a georgous town. Ellis and I went with him once. Berlin is also fascinating, but obviously for very differnet reasons.

Both of my Dad's parents were born and raised in Germany and I've never been there

 You will one day

Karen,

It is only the cheese and crackers. No wine dear. Still want it? :rotfl2:

 you know me too well:lmao: ... I'd smuggle my own in ;) :lmao: ...

We'll be with you on that Nancy.

Yeah I have no complaints. I am looking forward to getting my BlackBerry Storm next week. I just thought I would recap in case you didn't read back. Thats what started this conversation. That and the shopping debate.

Well, I'm glad today is over...

Its been one of those days:sad2:

Havent had 2 minutes to myself and I still have a dozen more jobs to do before I get a hot bath. I'm ready to drop.

Why is it some days just go on and on and on and on.:confused3

Ellis did his investiture tonight into Cubs (yes - I have photos;) :lmao: ) so that was nice, but it also meant I had to spend an hour with my mother:scared: :sad2: - thats two days running now:scared:

Anyway peeps, I'm off to do my jobs then soak in the bath.

byeeeeeeeeeeee

Where did that fab body come from!! He didnt look like that when he was on X Factor.

He's been in Grease on the West End for some time. Think he had to tone up for that.
