shhh robins taking another test. she finishes this class tontie. then only 2 more classes we think. thats been a battle too, between her and the school. either way....we'll be celebrating her graduation soon.:woohoo:

I really depends on where your room is. From Congress Park you can walk to the east side of the Marketplace.

That would depend on which building you're in. I can't remember the name of the one we stayed in but it was half way between DTD & the main building. It's all about location!

N

just like real estate i guess.:rolleyes1 :rotfl:

My son and I strolled it in about 15 minutes.

What is she in school for? I did grad school at Vero and at an off-site on a WDW trip. We didn't do much to celebrate when I finished my MEd., but that was my choice.

Mike here's a map from the SSR Lovers and/or Owners on the DVC board with walking distances at SSR.

O.K., for those of you in the Upper Midwest (Milwaukee specifically) looking to fly on Air Tran, I see it is much cheaper to go into Tampa. $192 vs. $258 into Orlando. This is based on dates as close as to when we will be going. Figure, the prices now will be what they are when they come out for our time.

Only thing is there is only one non-stop a day, 1:00-4:40 down and 5:20-7:04 back.

If you're renting a car, that is not a bad option (only 20-30 minutes further from WDW and less hassle).

I may book that Tampa back and wait for a sale on the Orlando outbound. That should save some money. :thumbsup2

Thanks Jeff, you just gave me more to think about, in a good way though. That would add up to a nice savings for us :thumbsup2 Is the Tampa airport an "easy" one to use? We've never flown in or out of Tampa. We've been to Busch Gardens from WDW multiple times so I know the drive to Tampa is easy.

hey thank you.:wizard: :wizard:
much appreciated.:wizard:

Your welcome! The day Rachel was completely down for the count on our trip I took a nice long walk around SSR, I walked around the whole resort and we were in the furthest away from the main part of the resort area, the Carousel section. I walked to where the path leads to DTD and it didn't look like it would have been too much farther to walk. It's a beautiful resort to walk around you guys should enjoy it :thumbsup2

Mrs L you keep sendings those pictures your goig to get some company:rotfl2::rotfl2:.

ok - you asked for it, we could use some company
These are from yesterday- Navarre Beach where we were bike riding. The road is still closed from Hurrican Ivan, but you can bike & walk.

This beach has been renourished so the sand is not as white as Destin, it needs a few years in the sun.

We always price Tampa for our WDW and Cruise flights because it isn't that much further away. And we can get non-stop.

I still have to check the prices for the rental cars though. Usually the prices are the same as MCO, but all prices are looking high right now.

With AT, you can go into MCO and out of TPA. That will allow you to leave MKE a little later.

We still have a lot of planning to do with regards to ground transportation for this one. I will make it work around our flights though.

Or she'll just kill you and be done with it. :lmao:

oh she's already excited because for the first time ever, she may make more money than me.:lmao: thats fine with me, but i'm thinking she's just building up enough $$$ to dump me. (i call it her "dump mike fund"):scared: :rotfl2:
