Good morning everyone and Happy Birthday to Nancy G!

The kids have a 90 minute delay just as predicted last night. All of the rain from last night froze solid overnight, but the roads aren't bad. My driveway is pretty much dry and is only frozen on the edges. I am sure the roads are just fine. I read something that our new President said last night and had a little chuckle. Apparantly, he thinks that the DC schools are wusses! Check it out...

I read this off the NY Daily News Website and got a kick out of it.


At a Roosevelt Room meeting today with business leaders to press his economic stimulus plan, Obama couldn't resist verging off script to suggest that "some flinty Chicago toughness" might be in order to deal with the Capital's first icestorm of the winter.
"My children's school was canceled today, because of what? Some ice," Obama said, as the room erupted in laughter.
"As my children pointed out, in Chicago, school is never canceled," he continued in amazement. "In fact, my 7-year-old pointed out that you'd go outside for recess in weather like this. You wouldn't even stay indoors."
Asked if he were calling Washingtonians weather wusses, Obama gleefully responded: "I'm saying that when it comes to the weather, folks in Washington don't seem to be able to handle things."

Birthday party tonight with the kids. MG in a pink power rangers suit would certainly resemble a stuffed sausage. Hmmmm, not pretty.

Here's an interesting little tid-bit about January 29th.

For the past 52 years it has snowed in the Milwaukee area on this day, although on the day I was born it poured buckets of rain. As I type this it is snowing a little.

My birth was at 11:59:30 pm. Therefore, I can only REALLY celebrate for 30 seconds tonight.

Yeah... although we had to throw that white T shirt away - too many chocolate stains.. we almost had to hose Ellis down he was in such a mess

I just ordered our christmas photopass

I did a photopass share with some people off the Dibb so it only cost us about $20 instead of $99 - its totally legal too... Disney say you can share the photopass with friends and family

It might be worth you all doing it next Oct

Home for lunch and feeling extremely trapped. I so need to get away from this cold, sn*w and ice. "Trying" to walk around all morning on the ice covered sn*w was the pits...........

I never cared for ice creams like Mickey Bars regardless of the shape. I don't like how that chocolate tastes over the vanilla ice cream. Call me weird!
