OK, now I'm getting ready to head to Riverwinds. Just as I was about to leave earlier, my mom called, I chatted with her for nearly 45 minutes.

I never understand why Disney doesn't have a system to take your picture and put that in the system. When we sailed the "Fun" ship they take your pic as you board, and then when you checked in or our your pic would show. With all the technology you think they could put hat on your card somehow.

Here's a funny for today

You are on the bus when you suddenly realize ... you need to pass gas. The music is really loud, so you time your passing with the beat.

After a couple of songs, you start to feel better as you approach your stop.


As you are leaving the bus, people are really staring you down, and that's when you remember: you've been listening to your ipod.

That would be me while on the treadmill!!!

Good morning everyone! I am really looking forward to this weekend - nothing planned! The next three weekends will be busy but fun - WDW, last weekend of preparation for State, then State for my girls. I plan to enjoy the downtime this weekend.

So - Disney has cut rates and offered buyouts for senior people; now they have dropped their latest magazine. It seems even Disney is not immune to this economy. It certainly gives one cause to wonder.

I hope everyone is warm or relatively so today!

Kathy and Frank - enjoy the World and all the pampering! I can't wait to see pictures!

Anothe busy day for Nana and Gramps. Hockey game at 1PM then back for 6th birthday for our granddaughter then off to church for bean supper.

Back home from my morning workout and the temps, they are a droppin' I don't think we will see 53* again for quite awhile.

I've reached another small milestone, I am now under 190# for the first time in ages. The scale read 188.8 after my workout today, I am almost to the 40# weight loss mark!!!

OK, time for a nice mid-morning tossed salad, be back later........

Good morning everyone. It will be a nice relatively lazy day here for us. I did get a call from Verizon Wireless last night and for some reason the computer didn't pick up the signature off the pin pad when I signed my new contract, so I have to run there. Thats about it though! These kind of days are rare for us, so I am looking forward to it.

As Heather posted, RCI also takes your picture. That was very convenient as you didn't have to provide the two cards when coming back on the ship. Although on the Nordic Empress (Empress of the Seas), the rooms had the old "hole punch" key cards. So our SeaPass cards didn't open our rooms and we still needed another card for our room key.
