evening all,

built the eliptical beast last night and tried it for the first time today.. i lasted 13 mins before my legs went wobbly!! I am soooo out of shape!

I will get better I know but sheesh I felt silly.

13 minutes is brilliant! - I hate elipticals with a passion - I can still only do about 10 minutes

Good monday morning people.

Todays the day we find out if Neil keeps his job. So far so good - no phonecall and its gone 9am. He's pretty positive because of other staff there, but you never know.

My pedometer is strapped to me again this morning - aiming for 7500 today.

I was watchig Paul McKenna last night and he was saying the difference between overweight people and thise of "normal" weight is just 2-3000 steps a day! - that doesnt sound so hard does it!

He reckons an average overweight person walks between 4-5000 steps and a "normal" person walks 7-10,000 steps a day. I'm aiming for 10,000 steps eventually but adding on 500 every other day til I get there. Trouble is its chucking it down outside and I dont fancy getting soggy just yet

Well, the wait is over - he's kept his job

He got a call this morning - asking him to do overtime - his shift was meant to start at 2pm today - he's just gone now 3 1/2 hours overtime. I dont get it ... but I'm not complaining
