We ate at IHOP for the first time ever this last trip - Ellis LOVED the chocolate pancakes. He declared it his favourite restaurant ever

I just cleared out 3 drawers and all the boxes under my bed. So far I have thrown away 21 pairs of shoes! - Dont worry I still have lots more

I have 2 big sack fulls to go to the charity shop.

Its really therapeutic and quite rewarding when you get started. I discovered things I'd totally forgot I had!

Keep your fingers crossed for Ellis today - he'll know in 1 1/2 hours if he passed his karate grading - he'll be an orange belt if he has and will be moving up to a 2 hour class each week - (on a Saturday morning miles away )

He also got a letter off Beavers last Monday and he's moving up to cubs next week too! - more money, more new uniform - this kid is expensive

We were invited to be a balloon carrier while we were there but we declined. We only intended watching the parade once so wanted to see it rather than be in it.
