i guess i should consider ourselves lucky then.
we've only flown 5 times. all out of akron/canton ohio to orlando and back.
all nonstop flights and they've been on time everytime.

maybe its because akron is a smaller airport?

cassie flew out of dayton last feb because she had heard they have lots of problems in cincinnati.

Are you talking Air Tran or Delta Mike?

We have flown AT from Milwaukee several times non-stop to MCO and TPA. We even have done 2 flights connecting through ATL. We had an issue with a changing flight time once (for our Jan '07 cruise), but never had a problem once the flight was set. Everytime we've flown them they've been concerned on getting the plane turned around and back in the air. Always ontime and their overhead bins are huge (can put a 21" suitcase in the long way). That is key in today's age of charging for checked luggage.

I am actually switching to them from Midwest. I don't trust Midwest more than about a month out. Since we prefer non-stop, we will fly AT.

I currently have about 30 AT credits. 8 are need for each one-way ticket, so we're almost up to 2 free round-trips. We'll have that by the end of next month.

We had people from our office going to Miami with Delta and their flight did get cancelled. They were concerned about that before even going out. Funny thing is my SIL is actually a flight attendant with Delta.

Here's the recipe for the Stuffed Green pepper soup that someone asked for today:

Stuffed Green Pepper Soup
1.5 pts for 1 cup

1# extra lean ground beef or ground turkey. (I use Boca crumbles)
drained and rinsed.
1 lg chopped onion
2 c diced tomato
2 green peppers chopped
2 c tomato sauce
3 c water
1 TBL Beed boullion (3 cubes)
1 tsp seasoned salt
dash pepper
1c. cooked brown rice

Simmer on stove for about 30 minutes.

I love mine! We make waffles alot. Maybe not so much since I need to fit into that dress. DD gave me the mickey toaster for CHristmas. I used a loaf of bread the first day playing with it.

I'm looking forward to it - I bet they are quite fattening though

Let's see. The b-day started with me shoveling the driveway. Then work.

Tonight will be going out for Mexican (my favorite) and then family time. I'm thinking Wii with DS. Maybe some Mario Kart so I can do better at the "rally" this weekend with my UK friends.

Oh, fun! My Mom likes Outback and I've gotten gift cards for her and her boyfriend from there. I've never eaten there, though. Vegetarian, here.

I had a gift card to Outback that was over a year old - I wanted to use that. It was also closer for mys on to get to than if I had chosen one of the others I was considering.

Well, after a couple of hours trying to get my wireless working, I am wired and have about 8 pages to catch up on, so I am going to get reading, replying, and trying to catch up. Good thing I read some of them at work today.

BTW, isn't wireless awesome? I don't know what I did without it!

We typically fly either Delta or Airtran. Weve have better luck with Airtran over Delta and the staff is much nicer.

We've flown Southwest once and that was a good experience.

For this upcoming trip I'm going to look mainly at Airtran and Southwest out of Philadelphia and Allegiant Air out of Allentown. Leaving out of Allentown would cut out one hour of our trip on each end. We are two hours from PHL and one from Allentown.

We have flown Delta many time without ever having a problem. We used to fly AirTran but we have had waaaayyyy to many problems on AirTran from almost missing a child's high school graduation due to canceled flights to not having anyone available to check us in at the gate and almsot missing a flight because of it. They have never been customer-focused with cancelations and are not even nice about their lack of duty. I used to fly them all the time when they were new, but I would choose Delta over AirTran (out of RDU, MCO, or ATL) anytime!!!!
